Over the years we have brought you shows on the joy of Christmas and the Festive season. The giving, the receiving, the sharing, the caring.
I have decided this year to put them on one page for your enjoyment. Some are on the of gift buying, some on festive expectations, some on festive stress, some on the lonely and those at risk. Some of the shows go back aways, but still, have relevant content.
I share here why I am sharing these shows this festive season, and why I think we should listen to them. We learn from others, so do not get caught up in the consumerism but in the love of togetherness this wonderful season of love and joy.

Children are everything no matter how old they get, they will always be your babies. Seeing them become the awesome adults each serving mankind in their own way is so very beautiful, and I am so proud of each of them.
My eldest daughter just made a visit home from Toronto, it was the first time in a year. It is way too long, as a Mama, I want to see my children regularly, but also have to respect their life choice even if they take them away from me for a time.
Children are your forever no matter how old they become, they will always be your baby.
We could not all come together at once, but I had Tabytha and Tasha (with Hubby Rob) in Victoria then Tabytha and I went to see Tyler (my son) in Vancouver. Only 4 days together, but we got them jam-packed.
As a parent, we have to remember we are here as their custodians and we are here to inspire, lead, support and believe in them and love them unconditionally. We do this so when we let them go out into the world, they are filled with wise knowledge, inner truth, empathy compassion, and loving excitement of what the world has to offer them, and in Self Discovery of what the share with the world.
GIVING BACK, Paying it forward, Supporting those in need, this is what Non-Profit means. However, raising money for such courses has been a challenge for over 40 years and needs to change now.
Don’t confuse Morality over Frugality.
It is ok to make money to give away, it is ok to take a salary to support this organization, it is ok to have overheads, it is ok to advertise to raise funds. The more you generate the more you support.
So let us look at what the obstacles are, poisonous, stigma against taking salaries, promoting, having an overhead, the need to sacrifice. When you make money you have more to give away, you can employ more people to expand the non-profit and reach more people, so much more can be achieved.
Please take a listen to this insightful info on raising money for our courses and changing our collective mindset.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Chinese New Year – whatever the family celebration. Is it a season of peace and goodwill to all men or a time of all-out war of attrition with the partner, stepchildren and/or the Mother-In-Law?
Do you look forward to family holidays, or are you of the “humbug” persuasion?
So many people I speak to dread dealing with all the pressures created through the run-up and preparation of getting things ‘perfect’, surviving the day and dealing with the aftermath of the reality of having everyone together over the festive season.
The holidays become a pressure cooker of old disappointments caused by a year on year failure of the festive season living up to the fairy tale ideal of playing happy families with the husband or wife, the children, in-laws, the step children…. worrying about presents, feeding everyone and what Uncle Fred will do when he’s drunk too much eggnog.
In ‘Detrigger Your Festive Stress’ we’ll be sharing with you practical approaches and techniques to help manage your family get-togethers with greater confidence and calm.
If you think it is going to be terrible – then it likely will be terrible. Be open to the possibility that with a different approach, you can have a very different experience – one you enjoy!!
All we need over the holiday season is 5 minutes 5 times a day to nip that holiday anxiety, stress, and even depression, in the bud.
So, here’s a quick look at The Stress to Success Formula: T.R.A.N.S.F.O.R.M.™ Your Life, Career and Business

5 Quick Tips To Transform the Holiday Season into a Joyful Experience
Turn off your devices when at family gatherings and holiday events…and talk person to person in real-time. Try it for 30 minutes to start, and build up from there. (It gets easier with practice I promise. LOL)
When the strain of too much activity or a cantankerous friend or family member gets to be too much, take a quick walk around the block, in the local park, or along the beach.
When feeling overwhelmed by a lack of funds and/or time for everything you want to have or do, take 5 minutes, sit down and write (in your gratitude journal) 5 things you’re grateful for in your life right now.
Holiday shopping and an overwhelming schedule taking its toll? Change your state! Get off your seat and on your feet and grab a glass of water. Hydration is crucial to keeping your brain alert, aware and thinking clearly, especially after a few too many festive eggnogs, or holiday treats!
Throughout the season (and the coming year) take 5 often. Set the timer on your phone for 5 minutes, put on some relaxing music, put your feet up and do some slow, deep, rhythmic, abdominal breathing. Breathe in and out to a slow count of 4.
Sara Troy, host/owner of Self Discovery Media Network, says stress being a mind-body heart and soul destroyer needs a new perspective. When we choose to see things differently we do not get so stressed about it.

Is negativity all bad? only when we get stuck in it and we are unwilling to embrace what positive possibilities are before us. The universe works on both a negative and positive frequency as we all do. We have night and day, black and white, Yin and Yang and that becomes our challenge to find a balance in it all.
It is not about being positive all the time, the happy willing only to see life jollies. It is being grateful for the things we can change, the choices we can make and live in a belief that we can make a positive difference in our lives and that of others.
We need the darkness to see the light, for then we truly see the truth of that light. The light can be blinding, so we need shade to contour it to define the light, everything has a purpose.
So take a positive attitude to life, when your down, mad, angry, hurt and in pain, spend that emotion so you can from those ashes fill your self up with some positive aspects that can and will show you the light and joy of life.
