Our Global Veteranswith Sara Towe Lieutenant Kevin M. Hallinan’s, on air from November 14th
Lieutenant Kevin M. Hallinan’s adventure-packed and insightful journey through the evolution of law enforcement, the rise of counterterrorism, and the birth of modern sports security.
From his hardscrabble NYC upbringing, through the NYPD ranks, to command of America’s first ever joint task force on terrorism alongside the FBI, Kevin M. Hallinan lived a lot of history. From beat cop to detective, Hallinan maneuvered through some of America’s most volatile decades and saw from the inside the tenuous gray line between law and order. The job proved to be extremely isolating. And it was almost always hair-trigger.
Early in his career, Hallinan became embroiled in deadly mob cases, which pulled him under the scrutiny of the feared and historic Knapp Commission on police corruption. In extreme danger and under pressure, he persevered and kept his integrity intact. Higher-ups took notice and brought him into the chief of detectives’ office where he helped reorganize robbery squads and create innovative and responsive new police initiatives. One such effort helped bring awareness and sensitivity to sexual assault investigations and contributed to the creation of the revolutionary Special Victims Unit. And that was only the beginning.
As the 80s unfolded and deadly attacks on police, diplomatic missions, and corporate targets escalated throughout the city, Hallinan relied on the mentoring of a growing network of law enforcement notables. It was compiling this amazing human network that made him the perfect choice to help pull together and lead the pioneering FBI/NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force. The JTTF, as it came to be known, would go on to create many of the counterterrorism tools and tactics that keep America safe to this very day. After retiring from law enforcement, Hallinan began a new chapter as Executive Director of Security and Facilities Management for Major League Baseball.
His fascinating inside look at a life in law enforcement spans layers of history, explores evolutions in national security, and features game-changing heroes and eye-opening innovations. Kevin M. Hallinan’s life and learning are at once informative, thrilling, entertaining—and perhaps most of all, truly inspiring.
Kevin M. Hallinan is known as an innovative leader in professional sports security and operations. Serving under four commissioners as SVP of Security and Facility Management, Hallinan oversaw security for all thirty Major League Baseball Clubs, creating revolutionary new systems to better protect the game and its players.
Prior to MLB, Hallinan was commander of the FBI/NYPD Joint Terrorism TaskForce, where he was recognized for his contributions in the war on terrorism. He testified before the U.S. Congress on domestic terrorism and received numerous NYPD/FBI citations and the U.S. Attorney General Award for Exceptional Public Service.
Hallinan earned his collegiate degree at Fordham University and attended the FBI National Academy.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from November 8th
Please do not let the outside chatter block your inside voice. It is all too easy to let the outside world dictate how we should feel, who we should be and how we should live our lives. Life is an inside-out job, not the other way around. We can not let the outside world decide for us, but take ownership of our own choices of who we are, what we do, and why we are here having a living existence.
All our answers to life come FROM within; they come through us for us to use in a proactive, positive way. When we choose to listen in, feel that wisdom that comes to us, and let it ignite our heart and empower our spirit, our minds are in clarity, and so are our actions. Being in-tuned with our soul, heart, spirit intellect, guides our mind into knowing what it needs to know when it needs to know it.
So find your way to switch of the outer world, a walk, a swim, a dance, a ride, connection with nature and listen in, for nature will always some you where you live and how to live in truth of you beingness. Meditation is not sitting in silence to hear the calling, but standing in chaos to know it.

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy, with her guest Beth Bell, on air from November 1st
The Big Idea: Living a life of discord and emotional suffering doesn’t need to be the norm. When we unravel the stories that the mind holds on to so tightly and become aware of our patterns and triggers, it can lead us to an awakening of a very different reality filled with ease and grace.
The So-What: Beth Bell was willing to look past her hopeful marriage, lovingly restored vintage home and jet setting career to listen to the calling of her soul. Ever searching through all of life’s twists and turns, she rode out her roller coaster ride of fantastic highs and dark lows. Romantic relationships served as her teachers and greatest source of pain and disappointment. Money, career, and possessions turned out to be the easy stuff. Once she learned to tap into Source Energy, angel guides, and people with both good and evil intentions — all designed by her higher self to teach essential lessons — she started to understand why we suffer. Now she understands how to glide through life by managing her mind, and so can you. After deep dives into a myriad of healing modalities, she uncovered shortcuts to the bliss of divine oneness through plant-based medicines, more commonly referred to as psychedelics. She realized that heaven on earth is not only attainable but is everyone’s birthright.
The Source: Beth Bell’s soul journey has taken her around the world to live, starting with humble beginnings in North Dakota, to California, New York City, Singapore, India, Bali, and now back in California. She spent 15-plus years in strategic brand management in the pharmaceutical industry, before becoming an entrepreneur and developing inspirational products, including a silver jewelry line for both eCommerce and a retail shop in Bali. She currently produces and co-hosts the Psychedelic Sages podcast and is an advisor to CEOs and psychedelic pharmaceutical companies.
Key Messages: Beth Bell is a transformer of relationships to love and life. She shares vulnerable stories and lessons about her own life to help others on their awakening journey. As a pattern disrupter who challenges others to unravel their own stories and break through beliefs to transcend the suffering of the mind, her journey demonstrates:
· How to take responsibility for life’s circumstances
· How to tap into your inner wisdom
· How to break through limiting beliefs that hold you back
· How to find the bliss of divine oneness through plant-based medicines (psychedelics)
· How to survive living a life that bravely bucks the norm
· How to release emotions no longer serving your higher good
· How losing your mind can be a blissful experience
· How to quiet your mind and let Spirit drive
· How to discover more love and less fear and anxiety — especially as the world appears to be falling apart
Her new book, Angels, Herpes and Psychedelics, shares her journey of awakening and provides a spiritual toolbox others can learn from.
