Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Phyllis Ayman, on air from December 14th
The story begins from inside the COVID19 storm which ravaged our nation’s nursing homes, affecting the over one million residents and the healthcare workers who are the true unsung heroes working there. It offers an on the ground perspective on how it felt inside the nursing home, especially the lack of PPE that impacted the spread of the virus. Dignity & Respect continues tracing the story to the ill effects of isolation and loneliness on older adults, whether they are living in nursing homes or amongst us in our nation’s communities, and goes on to address our attitudes towards aging and older adults. These attitudes are deeply entrenched in our language and our culture and affect how we feel about “getting older.” from both a societal and individual perspective, ultimately affecting the care our elders receive. This insightful and informative book asserts that the core values of respect and dignity are the foundation for developing strategies that will help all those we love and our future selves. to achieve a greater sense of peace and contentment as we age.
Phyllis is an eldercare advisor, family care mediator and strategist, advocate, speech/language pathologist, speaker and trainer for the public and private sector and holds various certifications for dementia training. She’s worked with thousands of residents, families and health care workers in almost 50 nursing homes during a career that spans approximately 45 years. Phyllis has been an advocate and outspoken proponent for improved dignity, respect, quality of life and quality of care for our elder citizens who she says are essentially our future selves.
Phyllis conceptualized and hosts the podcast SeniorsSTRAIGHTTalk on the Voice America Empowerment Channel and popular podcast platforms. The podcast is now produced in collaboration with the Pass It On Network, an international network of advocates and positive aging thought leaders. Ignite our heart and soul with Sara Troy and her guest Jesse AN Nichols George. On air from December 15th
Life on Earth is quite beautiful; but it can also be challenging to figure out how to be in Divine Flow when we are living in a 3D world. As a result, we often go through challenges in life; which push us to our limits, and test our commitment to living in our soul self. Even when we fully trust our intuition; we don’t always honor what we need to be doing. It can still be hard to tell when we need to push forward, and when we need to take a break. It can be hard to understand why we are going through the experiences that we do in life. It is through honoring the self, and understanding the experiences we have in life; that we are able to move through this world with the wisdom of the soul self. The Code Journey, emerged out of a journey of great hardship and heartbreak. It was created, to help all that want it; to have hope in the darkness, and understanding in the challenges, and to honor and welcome the blessings. It is a guide to help people no matter where they are in life to hold compassion for themselves and others; while moving through whatever life gives to us.
An is a Magi walk-in from the multi-verse. She stepped into this existence to relieve another soul, known as Jesse. She continues to use the human name for the body of Jesse An Nichols George; but goes by the name An. Jesse and An are part of the same Magi team; which work to assist people in living compassionately, wisely, and harmoniously. Their work helps people to be conscious of their wholeness, and how they are existing. Through the human vehicle, Jesse and An have created 7 books on their own, with an 8th one to be released in the Fall of 2020. Jesse was also a collaborator on the International multiple times Best Seller in multiple categories “Embraced by the Divine: The Emerging Woman’s Gateway To Power, Passion, and Purpose”. Jesse hosted her own international radio show The Code Connection for 5 years and created the Genesis Clearing Statement.
An focuses on carrying out The Code Journey work by producing a new edition each year, to guide people in how to maneuver life on Earth. As a Coding Interpreter, she helps people understand the flow of their energy in this world, and how to bring that into Divine Alignment. Her work utilizes approximately 39 years of experience teaching and working with clients, as well as blending Eastern and Western philosophies through over 50 different modalities.
An’s human self is a 13+ generation spiritual healer, energy tuner, spiritual, and wellness coach. She is also a 13th+ generation Druidic practitioner; honoring and appreciating the harmony of all things, and working with the natural cycles of life. This bloodline history includes everything from Freedom Fighters like George Washington, a lead translator and Hebrew scholar involved in the original translations of the Bible, a 4-star general in the Airforce, royalty, Apache and Cherokee Indian, European farming, many of the Celtic and Northern European influences, as well as a bit of Norse energy. As a Magi, An works with all-star seeds, soul groupings, and existences.
Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from December 15th
Covid has postponed our Christmas celebrations, but we can still find some cheer and a way to connect with each other. This is sad, inconvenient but not the end of the world, it is saving others from it being their end of life.
We have to look at this Covid 19 virus as a invisible enemy, one that will take anyone no matter your riches poverty, sex, or age, although it does go after the elderly. This makes it more important for us to work together in bringing this virus to its knees and ridding of it for ever, but we can’t do that if we are still treating it as a hoax, a joke, a 5g conspiracy or a government attack.
IT IS A KILLER, SO DO NOT BE ITS WEAPON PLEASE.
This Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, where we normally come together we are just going to have to find ways of doing it differently this year. Our family has postponed our coming together until Jan 9th. We will each stay where we are and celebrate with our house bubble. We will set up a time to zoom and have some merriment, but be grateful for the fact with this caution, we live another day.
If you are on your own, find that bubble person you see often and get together respectfully, wash those hands, wear a mask, keep some distance between you and be there for each other.
Let us not forget those seniors who have nowhere to go and are on their own, a phone call, drop off a card/gift, let them know that you care and you see them.
If you are in an apt building, see if you can get some music playing through all floors for a while to cheer people up. Or carol singing from floor to floor, celebrating life and are value of life.
Naigbors, knock on their door, sing a carol, wish them some cheer, get out ito the street with bells and whisstles and cheer every one up.
Hospitals, again, out side the windows, play some merry music, not just for the patients but also the staff, nurses, Doctors who are there saving lives instead of being with their families.
This not a year to be ungrateful, but grateful that we can come together in other ways to wish everyone love, and joy to each other.
Be inventive, be respectful, I do not care if you think Covid is not real, just have some respect and value for those who know it is and do not become a murder this year because you wish to deny covids exitance.
WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER GOING THROUGH THE SAME PANDEMIC, WHEN WE COME TOGETHER IN RESPECT OF LIFE AND HUMAN DIGNITY, WE WILL OVERCOME AND BEAT THIS THING.
