P14/20b 4 Seasons in 4 Weeks

Positive Living Vibrations with Sara Troy and her guest Suzanne Mathis McQueen. Originally Aired from MAY 22nd on.

HORMONES, PERIODS, MENSTRUAL CYCLE, all of which we have no understanding of why we go through such different moods in one month. We are going to understand today why our menstrual cycle is indeed a gift, we are going to see in how getting into the rhythm of our cycle it gives us knowledge of how we feel each week of the month and how to live in the rhythm of our own lives. This is a fascinating interview, and you not only should give this book to every woman but every man girl and boy, so that a woman’s cycle is not demeaned or misunderstood but embraced and honoured.

Suzanne Mathis McQueen, who is the author of 4 Seasons in 4 Weeks, and coaches women on how to suzanne-mcqueentrack the energies of their own hormonal rhythm using symbolism, archetypes, and an easy-to-follow system. After reading her book or attending a talk, women worldwide are making revolutionary breakthroughs in how they think about their reproductive bodies, sexuality, personal experiences, problem-solving, and what they deserve.

Suzanne’s background is in the healing industry and she’s the former creator and owner of a million-dollar, award-winning day spa and retreat centre. After selling her business in 2003 and a short break, a new direction emerged and Suzanne embarked on a spiritual journey that would become her life’s work. Her passion is directed toward encouraging “already empowered” women and girls to make real suzzannechange for themselves (and therefore the world) by synchronizing with the sequence of their own monthly cycle—something Suzanne personally discovered to be a hidden treasure map and remarkable navigational system within herself and all women, even beyond menopause. When a woman understands the primal wisdom of her fluctuating hormones, her daily experiences begin to make sense. Instead of needing to tolerate the inconvenience and frustration of her cycle, she begins to fall in love with her womb’s power. Suzanne considers this to be the missing link in women’s empowerment and without this knowledge, the female gender as a whole will continue to struggle for true equality and sovereignty.

In the shadow of the Mormon church, a 19th-century conspiracy is about to be shattered by a 21st-century forensic artist.
In 1857, a wagon train in Utah was assaulted by a group of militant Mormons calling themselves the Avenging Angels. One hundred and forty people were murdered, including unarmed men, women, and children. The Mountain Meadows Massacre remains controversial to this day–but the truth may be written on the skulls of the victims.
When renowned forensic artist Gwen Marcey is recruited to reconstruct the faces of recently unearthed victims at Mountain Meadows, she isn’t expecting more than an interesting gig . . . and a break from her own hectic life.
But when Gwen stumbles on the ritualized murder of a young college student, her work on the massacre takes on a terrifying new aspect, and research quickly becomes a race against modern-day fundamentalist terror.
As evidence of a cover-up mounts–a cover-up spanning the entire history of the Mormon church–Gwen finds herself in the crosshairs of a secret society bent on fulfilling prophecy and revenging old wrongs.

“Renowned forensic and fine artist Parks’ action-packed and compelling tale of suspense is haunting in its intensity. Well researched and written in an almost journalistic style, this emotionally charged story is recommended for fans of Ted Dekker, Mary Higgins Clark, and historical suspense.”
-Book Verdict Starred Review and the inspirational debut of the month.

“Parks, in her debut novel, has clearly done her research and never disappoints to when it comes to crisp dialogue, characterization, or surprising twists and turns.”  -Publishers Weekly

“Parks’ fast-paced and suspenseful debut novel is an entertaining addition to the inspirational genre. Her writing is polished. and the research behind the novel brings credibility to the story. An excellent book that’s sure to put Carrie Stuart Parks on readers’ radar.” –4 star RT Book Review

“What impresses most about this first novel is the research into Mormon history and the authoritative familiarity with the workings of forensic art. These and the swift pace, the strong characterizations, the rich detail of setting, and historical possibility all make for a page-turner that Latter-day Saints will ponder for days.” -Association for Mormon Letters
