23-46. Finishing up the year.

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from November 14th

As the year draws to a close, that ever-present sense of urgency looms over us. We’re left wondering how we can manage to tie up loose ends, meet our goals, and make room for new beginnings in 2024, all while allowing ourselves the simple pleasure of just being in the moment.

The challenge lies in striking that delicate balance between productivity and mindfulness. It’s crucial to create a clear plan to wrap up any outstanding tasks and projects, prioritizing what needs immediate attention. Break these tasks into manageable chunks, allocate specific time slots for them, and stay disciplined.

But it’s equally important to carve out dedicated time for reflection and planning for the year ahead. What are your aspirations for 2024? What new projects or goals do you want to pursue? Taking some quiet moments to contemplate these questions can help set a clear direction.

And let’s not forget the importance of ‘just being.’ Amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, it’s essential to find moments of peace and relaxation. Whether it’s spending time with loved ones, pursuing a hobby, or simply taking a leisurely walk in nature, these moments of serenity recharge our spirits and allow us to appreciate the present.

For me, the year-end rush isn’t just about wrapping up my annual projects; it’s also about ushering two books into publication and ensuring they receive the attention they deserve. One of these projects involves hosting an Authors Anthology Summit for the “Our Forgotten Children” book. While I still have some chapters to edit, it’s clear that certain aspects need to be accomplished by year-end, while others can benefit from a fresh start in the new year.

The key is to prioritize and strategize effectively. Finishing up the annual projects may take precedence, ensuring a strong finish for the current year. This allows me to focus on the book projects with renewed energy in the beginning of the year.

The Authors Anthology Summit can be a great way to kick off the new year, but that is going to be in December to promote the pre order of the book. Instead the new year will be authors hour, where people can ask the authors questions on their chapter and experiences, creating excitement and anticipation around the book and what its message really is. As we move forward, we can carefully plan the release and marketing strategies, ensuring that these books ( mine included) receive the recognition they deserve.

In this way, we can strike a balance between wrapping up the old and ushering in the new, allowing us to achieve our goals while also finding moments of peace and relaxation during this busy season.

So, as we navigate the final days of this year, let’s embrace the urgency to complete our tasks, the excitement of new beginnings, and the tranquility of being in the here and now. In this delicate dance, we can find harmony and fulfillment.

MH23-45. Lori Chenger, Mind Hostage Negotiator

Mental Health Awareness with Sara Troy and her guest Lori Chenger, on air from November 7th

Mindset Inside-Out. How to thrive internally in an external world.

Receiving a 2022 award nomination for the Global Institute for Evolutionary Women in the field of education, a category for recognizing women who teach, inspire, and educate others, is both an honour for Lori and symbolic of how life educated her to be where she needs to be.

Until Lori learned how to become a hostage negotiator of the mind, she kept creating life from the poverty of thinking that one can easily adopt from an unhealthy family narrative.
By age eleven, Lori experienced sexual abuse twice, grew up without running water, indoor plumbing, and electricity. Watching others make decisions based in addictions was a great teacher on how to live small and alone. This life was also a precursor to a marriage grounded in addictions and abuse. When you change the way you look at the things, the things you look at change. Once you learn how to get out of your own way and build a wealthy mindset, life will change and forgiveness is possible.

Using the modalities Lori is trained in and doing continual inner healing, Lori’s life began transforming. In just the past four years, Lori has taken to the stage as a motivational speaker, became a two time international best-selling author for her personal reflections in motivational compilation books, wrote and published three children’s books, is a contributing author for two magazines, has become a paid actress for stage and improv acting, appeared in a music video and television commercial.

Two of her passion projects are helping youth be seen, heard, and understood by becoming a board member for the platforms run by Dr. Ali Lankerani whose mission it is to educate children, youth, and parents and her work with immigrants through the African Canadian Performing Arts Foundation.
Lori’s message is simple, clear, and direct. Your age and circumstances do not hold you back, your mind does. When you are ready to grow forward, contact Lori to speak at your organization, facilitate an an engaging workshop, or benefit through her coaching mentorship.

Lori is the 2023 Educator of The Year winner from the Rise to Greater Heights Foundation. The award acknowledges the accomplishments of individuals who lead, teach, and inspire all learners. Lori is an international motivational speaker and 3x international best selling co-author. Last seen speaking on the stage at Cambridge University in the UK and co-authoring a book with Marie Diamond, Lori is thrilled to be a part of this project that brings our youth to the light for empowered success. The sky is not the limit-your mindset is!

23-45. Are we too old to find Love?

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from November 7th

As the years gracefully add chapters to our stories, I often find myself contemplating the tapestry of human connection that weaves through the lives of my single women friends of mature years. The question seems to float in the air around us, as delicate and as profound as the twilight of our youth: Can love be found once again at this stage in our lives?

Have we had our day? I muse, watching the laughter light up their eyes, the same eyes that have seen decades of joys and heartbreaks. The notion that love is the exclusive domain of the young is as outdated as the idea that wisdom comes only with age. Love, I argue, is ageless, boundless, and ever-present, waiting just beyond the reach of time’s grasp.

Are we too old? I ask, knowing that age has only refined us, like wine gaining complexity and depth with the passage of time. Our experiences have sculpted us into beings of resilience and beauty, with so much more to give and share. The richness of our lives cannot be dimmed by the number of candles on our birthday cake.

Is there anyone out there with integrity and honour? The question echoes in the quiet moments. It is a hope that remains undiminished by the years, a belief in the existence of kindred spirits who value the golden currency of trust and the quiet strength of character. Surely, there are hearts that beat to the rhythm of respect and love, with hands that hold as much tenderness as they do strength.

To love and to be loved in return, it’s a desire that transcends the very essence of time, one that doesn’t fade as we step into the silver season of our lives. It’s there, in the shared glances across a room, in the understanding smiles, and in the patient listening of a friend. Love, in its many forms, remains within reach, ready to unfold in the most unexpected places.

This is a timeless reminder of our own capacity for growth and the ever-present possibility of connection. It’s an affirmation, a gentle but firm declaration to ourselves and to each other: don’t give up, don’t succumb to feelings of unworthiness. Love is an omnipresent force, and while it might seem elusive, it exists in abundance, often waiting for us to recognize it within ourselves before it manifests in our relationships.

To know self-love is to unlock the door to receiving affection from others. It is about embracing our entirety—our strengths and our vulnerabilities—and acknowledging that we are deserving of love, just as we are. In understanding and loving ourselves, we set the standard for how we should be loved by others. It is in this space of self-recognition and self-appreciation that we allow others to see us, to know us, and to love us.

And in this knowledge, we vibrate with a frequency that resonates with authenticity. We attract not just love, but the right kind of love—the kind that honors us, nourishes us, and reflects the very essence of who we are.

Letting love come to us in whatever form it’s meant to can be both a test of patience and an exercise in trust. It means trusting the journey, trusting the unseen rhythms of life that guide us toward experiences and people who are aligned with our highest good. Sometimes love arrives not with a grand entrance but in subtle, unexpected forms—through friendships, shared smiles, common kindnesses, and quiet companionships.

It’s important to stay open, to allow life to surprise us, and to recognize that love doesn’t always come in the package we expect. It could be the comfort of a long-time friend, the understanding from a new acquaintance, or even a rekindled romance that arrives at our doorstep in the quiet autumn of our lives.

So, to my dear friends and to myself, I say: remain open-hearted, cherish the love that you already possess, and trust that new love can find you at any time. For in this vast universe, the one thing that remains eternal, that transcends the boundaries of age and time, is the ability to love and be loved in return.

IG23-45. Eli Love, and School Of Hard Knocks

Ignite Your Heart and Soul with Sara Troy and her guest Eli Love, on air from November 7th

When I was 5 years old, I noticed the difference between adults and kids. In my child’s mind, adults were always grouchy and preoccupied, and kids were always happy, playful, and present. I made a promise to myself at that age to find out why that was so.
Little did I know that I had created a subconscious script to always notice what made people heal permanently. Not a medicine or mental technique, but what changed people from the heart for the better.
After decades of studying, I finally found out that it is the School Of Hard Knocks that changes people from the heart. There are countless stories of people going through years of hardships or a traumatic event that changed their lives in a profound way. I said to myself that there must be a better way.
At the age of 40 I found it. Children have it. We all had it, and then we got conditioned out of it. It is “Unconditional Expression.” The ability to express yourself positively or negatively until you are COMPLETELY finished and at peace. That is the magic of being a child. Leaving that process is what has created multiple levels of chaos and illness for us. Returning to it immediately creates spontaneous healings on all levels of our lives.
My mission in life is to share that with people and make this information mainstream in the public’s consciousness.

I have been a private music teacher since the age of 13. I taught publicly for
25 years, and have performed musically around the world numerous times,
but my real passion lies in what makes people heal organically. I’ve been a
personal growth facilitator for the last 30 years sharing this work of
Unconditional Expression.
