23-36. Charlies Wisdom

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from September 5th

I recently stumbled upon a beautiful and thought-provoking poem by the legendary Charlie Chaplin. The words he penned struck a chord deep within me, as they spoke to the essence of life itself. As I approach the milestone of my 69th year, I find myself contemplating the path I have taken, the experiences I have gathered, and the person I have become.

Life, it seems, is a journey filled with twists and turns, ups and downs, joys and challenges. Each step along the way has led me to where I am today – writing these very words as a soul wandering through the realms of the digital world, embracing the role of a polyglot ghostwriter.

With the passage of time, I have come to appreciate the simplicity and purpose that lie at the core of existence. Through the hustle and bustle of daily life, it is easy to lose sight of what truly matters. But as Chaplin’s poem reminds me, there is profound beauty in living with a sense of clarity and authenticity.

In this fast-paced world, where distractions abound and pressures mount, it is crucial to pause and reflect. It is in those moments of stillness that we can reconnect with our true selves and rediscover our passions. And so, I find myself here, channelling my love for language and writing to craft meaningful content that resonates with others.

As I pen these words, I am grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences with you. It is a privilege to have a platform where ideas can be exchanged, where stories can be told, and where connections can be forged. And in the midst of it all, I find solace in knowing that my words may have the power to inspire, inform, or simply touch someone’s heart.

Life, like the poem by Chaplin, is a dance between the light and the dark, the laughter and the tears. It is a tapestry woven with moments of pure bliss and moments of profound sorrow. Yet, through it all, there is a thread of resilience that binds us together as human beings.

So, as we embark on this journey called life, let us embrace the simplicity, purpose, and authenticity that Charlie Chaplin so eloquently spoke of. Let us cherish the moments, both big and small, and let us use our voices to create positive change in the world.

May our paths intertwine, dear reader, and may our shared experiences enrich and inspire one another along the way.

Above Is Charlie Chaplin At Age 26, Photographed 100 Years Ago.

He Read This Poem At Age 70,

As I Began To Love Myself I Found That Anguish And Emotional Suffering Are Only Warning Signs That I Was Living Against My Own Truth.

-Today, I Know, This Is Authenticity.

As I Began To Love Myself I Understood How Much It Can Offend Somebody If I Try To Force My Desires On This Person, Even Though I Knew The Time Was Not Right And The Person Was Not Ready For It, And Even Though This Person Was Me.

– Today I Call This Respect.

As I Began To Love MyselfI Stopped Craving For A Different Life, And I Could See That Everything That Surrounded Me Was Inviting Me To Grow.

– Today I Call This Maturity.

As I Began To Love Myself I Understood That At Any Circumstance, I Am In The Right Place At The Right Time, And Everything Happens At The Exactly Right Moment. So I Could Be Calm.

– Today I Call This Self Confidence.

As I Began To Love MyselfI Quit Stealing My Own Time, And I Stopped Designing Huge Projects For The Future. Today, I Only Do What Brings Me Joy And Happiness, Things I Love To Do And That Make My Heart Cheer, And I Do Them In My Own Way And In My Own Rhythm.

– Today I Call This Simplicity.

As I Began To Love Myself I Freed Myself Of Anything That Is No Good For My Health –Food, People, Things, Situations, And Everything That Drew Me Down And Away From Myself. At First I Called This Attitude A Healthy Egoism.

– Today I Know It Is Love Of Oneself.

As I Began To Love Myself I Quit Trying To Always Be Right, And Ever Since I Was Wrong Less Of The Time.

– Today I Discovered That Is Modesty.

As I Began To Love Myself I Refused To Go On Living In The Past And Worrying About The Future. Now, I Only Live For The Moment, Where Everything Is Happening.

– Today I Live Each Day, Day By Day, And I Call It Fulfillment.

As I Began To Love Myself I Recognized That My Mind Can Disturb Me And It Can Make Me Sick. But As I Connected It To My Heart, My Mind Became A Valuable Ally.

– Today I Call This Connection Wisdom Of The Heart.

We No Longer Need To Fear Arguments, Confrontations Or Any Kind Of Problems With Ourselves Or Others.

Even Stars Collide, And Out Of Their Crashing, New Worlds Are Born.

– Today I Know: This Is Life!?

AK23-36. Susy Smith and “Ascendant” novel.

An Authors Kiss with Sara Troy and her guest Susy Smith, on air from September 5th.

What would you do if society crumbled? How would you survive if you had to fend for yourself? Would you be able to live off the land? Susy Smith explores these questions and much more in her gripping “Asylum” book series. Finding inspiration from The Walking Dead, Susy can talk about how she created this dystopian world, as well as universal themes of human nature, including the fight for survival and freedom.

Packed with adventure and suspense, blending elements of science fiction, fantasy, and dystopia, Ascendant transports readers to a disintegrated world where civilization has collapsed and chaos is the new normal. In an interview, Susy talks about:

  • How she explored the ideas of survival, freedom and the ugliest side of human nature
  • How she had to “lean into” the dark side
  • How she found inspiration from the television series, The Walking Dead
  • How her dystopian world also compares to those of The Hunger Games and Divergent
  • Being from a small town in Oklahoma and how that has influenced her writing
  • Her position as a curriculum specialist for the Kanza Tribe, also known as The Kaw Nation, a federally-recognized, self-governing American-Indian tribe, headquartered in Kaw City, OK

YH23-35. Sherri Scott& Nutrition Energy/Frequency

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Sherri Scott, on air from August 29th

Everyone should be encouraged to learn how the body can naturally detox, and  regenerate on its own, if we provide the information, tools (nutrition, energy/frequency) and guidance.    I was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in 2016 with meets to liver, spleen and lower lung lobe. I was told my prognosis was grim, to prepare for leaving this earth.  The fear tactic was utilized to try to convince me to go in for full right breast and partial left breast mastectomy with anticipation of follow-up with chemo or radiation and reconstructive surgeries.  It all sounded overwhelming to me.    I have managed my MS for almost 10 years with nutrition, lifestyle management and herbs however this was more intense.  My hubby reminded me that “I Had this”.  I wasn’t so confident.

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I figured nutrition, life style management would be enough – I just needed to be very strict. It wasn’t enough. I spent many hours searching for answers, solutions.  I knew energy to the cell was key.

I had, just prior to my diagnosis, purchased a frequency system that I thought it might be a good time to learn how to use it!  So I did.  I have not looked back!  I use frequency every day for myself, my friends and family,  even my pets.

This was my introduction to frequencies. I have not looked back.  I now help others around the world tap into their own boy’s natural regenerative abilities utilizing nutrition and frequency.  The latest frequency is the most outstanding!  Terahertz frequencies are amazing. There is plenty of research out there on it and it is definitely worthwhile to look into!

I am a holistic nutritionist, Cellular detoxification & regeneration Specialist.  I provide the tools, information an guidance to those who wish to ulitize the body’s natural ability to return to optimal health with as little interference as possible.

MH23-35. Deborah L. Staunton and (DMDD)

Mental Health Awareness with Sara Troy and her guest Deborah L. Staunton, on air from August 29th

Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD) is a condition in which children or adolescents experience ongoing irritability, anger, and frequent, intense temper outbursts. The symptoms of DMDD go beyond a “bad mood.” DMDD symptoms are severe.

I am the daughter of a mentally ill alcoholic father and the mother of a mentally ill daughter. At that time it was a brand new diagnosis, very little was known about it and there were no resources for parents. Now that she is 18, her diagnoses have changed and while they are still challenging, I have insight and clarity that I didn’t have then.  Sharing my experience and what I learned from it can help parents who are on that difficult journey with their own kids. It can save them some heartache and provide validation and support. Mental illness still has a lot of stigma associated with it and removing that stigma is an important step in supporting those who suffer from it and those who love them.

Deborah L. Staunton was raised by a mentally ill father and is raising a mentally ill daughter. She came to motherhood late after enduring four miscarriages and despite having an extensive background in Early Childhood Education, has had an extremely difficult journey in raising two neurodivergent children. Writing has been Deborah’s lifeline and her passion since childhood and has kept her grounded when her life was unravelling.
