Jennifer Noel Taylor
Jennifer graduated from Cal Poly (San Luis Obispo, CA) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and a Minor in Philosophy. After graduation, she started her first job as a Software Engineer at a big company in San Diego.
Like so many people, she felt incredibly trapped and depressed at a job that paid the bills but didn’t speak to her passion in life. I constantly suffered from “a case of the Mondays,” this weighty sense of foreboding at the beginning of each work week.
Even though she was incredibly bored at her day job, she started pursuing her true passion at night: massage school! She studied massage at the International Professional School of Bodywork, Esalen Institute in Big Sur, and the Maui Academy of Healing Arts.
While working on people, she started to feel the “energy fields” emanating from people. She became fascinated by energy healing and studied various energy healing modalities including Reiki.
She met Richard Gordon, the founder of Quantum-Touch, at his lecture on Maui. She fell in love with the vision of Quantum-Touch and received a very clear message from the Universe that Quantum-Touch was her true calling. Shortly after she met Richard, she quit her job and took a Leap of Faith. She finally followed her Heart. She took over as CEO of Quantum-Touch in June 2002.
Quantum-Touch has grown from a small United States company to an international Corporation with a community of over 50,000 people.
When you are following your Heart, doors will open almost magically.
She has dedicated her life work to helping people discover the healing power of their Love. She strives to integrate spirituality and business by implementing business practices that include spiritually rewarding jobs, loving spiritual service to the world, environmental responsibility, and financial abundance.

Named after a famous Viking Warrior I had a lot to live up to.
I think I’ve done pretty good, and lived up to the tenacity, passion, sardonic humour, boat rocking and deep loyalty that my name engenders.
My life has been pretty hectic, messy, scary and full of incredible moments. These repeated, and so-called ‘failures’ I’ve experienced have culminated in a full life thus far. They’ve informed, crafted and transformed me in some incredibly profound ways. Now that I am in my 40’s – mid-life, and all that – I realize how important all those failures, heartaches, heartbreaks, mistakes, wrong choices, BAAAD choices and everything thing in between have been. A survivor of abuse and heartache everything is a lesson in THRIVAL. All that I have been throughhasdesigned the person I am proud to be today – and it’s pretty KICK ASS if I say so myself.
Kaare Long is a single mom to two beautiful daughters who are growing up quickly. She is the Creative Director of her own Business, a Cue Creative Consulting, an online digital communications agency and the executive director and founder of the Social Movement ‘#sayhitoastranger’ which has become a popular event in the City of Vancouver, B.C. and has recently been nominated for the ‘Power of Peace’ award from the YMCA. Kaare is also a professional performer—musician, actor and vocalist. Creativity is her driving force, along with Community and Connection. She believes that we can do so much more working together than we can in competition to each other. Kaare mentors younger cohorts and believes that sharing what she has learned with vulnerability and authenticity is the best way to have it serve a deeper purpose. “I’ve struggled along the way, but we all do. And if we can understand early in our lives that failure is the most important part of our growing up, then perhaps we might enjoy it a bit more. I’d grown up in the land of TRANSYLVANIA, homeland to Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, and, worse, the Communist dictator, Nicolae Ceausescu—who turned Romania into a land of gray-clad zombies who never dared to show their individuality, and where neighbours became informants, and the Securitate made people disappear. Daylight empowered the regime to encircle us like starved wolves, and so night had always been the time to steal a bit of freedom. As if bred into our Transylvanian blood, we were like vampires who came to life after sundown. I buried the family heirloom jewels, tucked the flag into my sweater and left my outpost to join the action . . . tonight Ceausescu would die!
Known for using stand-ins to pose for him, Aura doubts if it was even Ceausescu himself who was killed that night. Nevertheless, when her countrymen topple one of the most draconian regimes in the Soviet bloc, Aura Imbarus tells herself that life post-revolution will be different. But little in the country changes. With two pieces of luggage and a powerful dream, Aura and her new husband flee to America. Through sacrifice and hard work, the couple acquires a home, cars, and travel—but trying to be Americans is much more complicated than they expect. More difficulties set in the stock market crash takes their savings, house, and cars; thieves steal three centuries’ worth of heirloom jewels, and Aura’s beloved mother dies.
Aura’s marriage crumbles under the stress. Devastated, she asks herself, ‘How much of one’s life is owed to others?’ Tested even further by the vagaries of fate, Aura discovers a startling truth about striking a balance between one’s dreams and the sacrifices and compromises that allow for Serenity, selfhood, and lasting love. More resolution comes when in 2010, Ceausescu’s body is exhumed to answer questions of a cover-up, and Aura can finally lay to rest the haunting mysteries of her past.
