Christina Hill was born with a heightened awareness of her intuitive abilities. As a young child, she could see, hear, feel and speak with spirit people and animals—those who had transitioned out of their physical bodies. She could also experience psychic impressions of people she encountered in life, often knowing a great deal about total strangers. For example, she could see where someone had been and where they were going.

At the age of five, she began assisting people during their dying process, supporting them as they crossed over. Those closest to her, however, told Christina that her gifts would only lead to eternal damnation so she hid her intuitive abilities away for much of her life.

After a great deal of personal transformation work and years of spiritual mentorship, Christina fully embraced all aspects of herself and her intuitive awareness. She discovered that she could open her whole self, including her voice and body, to enlightened spiritual beings who had messages for her. Christina worked to refine and renew the ancient art of first-person channelling, a gift she now shares with the world.

17-22 One Trip too Many

Sara Troy with Sara’s View of Life, on air from May 30th

One TRIP too many

Well, I know how to have a good trip I certainly have tripped enough in my time.  Of cause, this trip I am talking about is the one that lands you flat on your face, not a luxury travelling trip.

I recently tripped again, this time caught my foot on a lip of an uneven pavement and went flying face down to meet the pavement. I was lucky, bruising, scrapes, and only a cracked nose bridge, it could have been so much worse.

I was blown away by the people that stopped to help, I was walking my Grandpup Abby, I did drop the leash when I fell but called her immediately and she was there, she sat on my tummy as if to guard me. A nurse who was riding by with her husband stopped to attend me, wish I remember her name she was awesome, someone had some gauze and she dealt with my bleeding face which was bleeding into my hair, she was so kind and caring, he or someone called the ambulance and there were hovering around me helping in any way they could.

Some people taking care of me, some getting my details to the firemen, someone took Abby, I was blown away with all the help and caring, so wonderful that people are so kind. I was flat on my back laying on the ground unable at that time to move and unaware to me at the time laying in water from the power washing that had just taken place. I continued to be wet for the next 5 hours till my son brought me dry clothes, as I only had a head injury they did not have me change in the hospital, I did not know how wet I was till later.

Here is a tip for any bruising, boil an egg too hard boiled, while hot take of shell and apply the hot egg gently to the swelling and bruised area, keep at it until egg cools, then throw egg away, there is something in the egg that draws out the bruising and it is soothing as well, I used it and no black eye only green.

Tripping is not unusual for me, I have fallen over a foot stool and bashed my forehead, a nice egg head there, I tripped over a tree root and face planted, but this was in the woods so not as mush damage at this time. Another time fell between 2 cars, I also have done graceful splits slipping on floors and those textured pavements but I always managed to keep my skirt down. Yes, the ice got me too, passed out with that one and had a concussion for a couple of days, but the that got me good was 2006 August 7th when I slid off a rock and broke 3 bones in my ankle. So 6 screws one titanium plate in my ankle I guess that was my biggest trip yet.

So the moral of the story is, get in balance, be mindful you do fall so walk mindfully. Now, with my new face lift LOL, I rest, regroup and heal so I can come back ready willing and able again.

TSM 17- 23 TIFF’s Initiative an Emergency Contact program

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Christine Olson, on air from June 6th

As she crawled into bed on December 7, 2005, Christine Olson was unaware that her daughter, Tiffany, lay lifeless at the county medical examiner’s office. The phone rang around 11:20 p.m. “Mom, there’s been an accident; get to Manatee Memorial Hospital.” It was her 29-year-old son Derek, and he had received a call from a friend saying there had been a motorcycle accident in Palmetto. They were given no other information.

As she raced to the hospital, Christine refused to believe anything could have happened to her precious 22-year-old Tiffiany. No one at the hospital knew anything. Frantically, Christine and Derek checked every local hospital. Nothing. Finally, a hospital security guard contacted the local police. At 1:30 a.m., a police officer arrived in the parking lot of Manatee Memorial Hospital. He held an evidence bag containing Tiffiany’s watch, lip-gloss, her broken earring and toe ring. “I’m sorry, but your daughter is gone.” When Christine asked where Tiffiany was, she was told, “Probably at the morgue, but they’re closed for the night. Call them in the morning.”

Tiffiany

Tiffiany and her boyfriend Dustin were northbound on U.S. Highway 19 when a car travelling westbound pulled in front of them. Tiffiany died instantly; Dustin died approximately half an hour later. Tiffiany’s driver’s license did not have her current address, so the police had no way to contact the next of kin.

“No mother should have to learn that her child died six and a half hours after the fact.” Christine knew something had to change. Visiting the accident site the next day, Christine searched the area replaying horrifying events. According to the National Association of Emergency Medicine, nationally, the average time it takes to notify the next of kin is 6 hours and sometimes it takes up to a day.

DOENJOYTHE WISDOM

With the assistance of State Representative Bill Galvano, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and law enforcement agencies, Christine designed a program to help notify families in case of an emergency in memory of her daughter, Tiffiany Olson. TIFF’s Initiative (To Inform Families First) is a voluntary program where Florida residents access a database where they enter emergency contact information. The information entered into this secure database is only accessible by law enforcement through a Florida driver’s license or identification card. When a police officer enters a driver’s license number into their computer, the contact information will appear on their screen.

TIFF’s Initiative went into effect on October 2, 2006. As of January 2010, over 1 million Florida residents have added emergency contact information to their license or ID cards.

“A drop in the bucket compared to the 15 million registered drivers statewide.” Christine said

Currently, TIFF’s Initiative is available in several states and Christine would like to see this program established throughout the United States. Several other states are working to get a similar program implemented.

TIFF’s Initiative gives Christine hope that other families will not have to go through what she did that evening. Every day it haunts Christine to wonder, did Tiffany suffer? Did she cry out for her mother? “I cannot change what happened that evening,” she said. “But because of my belief in the Lord and knowing Tiff believed as well, I have complete faith I will see her again.”

TSM 17-22 The Fearless Path with Leah Guy

Their Story Matters  with Sara Troy and her guest Leah Guy, on air from May 30th

Author, intuitive transpersonal healer, spiritual teacher, professional speaker, and media personality – Leah Guy releases her new book “The Fearless Path” out via New Page Books!
There are not only stories in the book, but compelling information about our energy system and overall wellness that I think is necessary for anyone on the self-care journey to understand. It’s a practical book, easy to understand and useful no matter the pain or suffering one is enduring. Addiction, weight issues, heartache, anxiety, sexual assault or behavioural issues…the information is applicable and relatable.

Leah Guy believes that disconnection is the root of all fear and the attempt at letting go causes more problems than it solves. Debunking the myth of detachment and other popular New Age ideologies, she emphasizes that there’s no escapism in emotional healing. Rather, the process is about putting the personal pieces of your heart, mind, and soul back together again. The Fearless Path offers a radical approach that will heal trauma, fear, heartache and mental and physical health.

This book highlights the impact that fear, guilt, shame, and grief has on humans and how to process and heal the pain. We seek happiness and peace and it is only through connection and acceptance that we can reach that goal. Emotional healing requires putting your broken pieces back together again. To mend your heart, you must have access to your suffering. To do this you must be willing to tear down the walls that create the confines of your emotional prison.

Through time we learn to avoid suffering by lying to ourselves and others, which serves to increase emotional distress and disconnection. These are the negative energy patterns we use in an attempt to separate from pain. However, it is through connection to our divine nature that we can be free. To be whole and healthy, it is necessary to accept and process the suffering and be open to the guidance and direction of Source, the Creator, the great Conductor. I call this energy “God.” As we walk in faith and connection to Source, we find a balance between spirit and body, between heaven and earth. A rich spiritual life leads us to a satisfying and peaceful human life. This is the final link to healing. Integrating spiritual wisdom with earthly experience allows us to emotionally process and evolve.
Enlightenment is achieved with the alignment of heart and Soul. Every experience in our lives offers exactly what we need to heal and grow into this alignment. If experiences are dismissed or abandoned, the progress of our spiritual evolution grinds to a halt. Our purpose is to stay connected to all our experiences and emotions so we walk toward the alignment and experience true self-love and peace. Because we are so unique, our paths to healing must be unique. That is why we are each given different experiences to process and endure in our lives. As we process the suffering in our life, our hearts are free to participate in our higher purpose. Emotional healing is important because it is the path that allows you to reach your true purpose.

The quest for peace and happiness is fulfilled through the process of emotional healing. If we avoid healing, we become trapped by the illusions of our minds. Our minds trick us to believe that peace and happiness are achievable only if we do something different or better. There is the illusion that earthly attachments will make us feel better with more money, the coolest car, or the new drug. These false beliefs mask the need for healing. It will not suffice to depend on external things to satisfy the internal war of emotional distress. Peace comes from your Soul, not by mental illusions.

Shifting your perspective from how you view the reality of your mind to the reality of your Soul helps define who you are. This is where you heal and gain insight to why bad things happen to good people. It is from the Soul that we can accept our weaknesses and move from fear to greatness. The more we heal, the more access we have to the alignment and reality of our divine being. It is from this place that we can experience the peace and happiness that we crave.

The spiritual path is a difficult one for many. It symbolizes vast ideologies that include acceptance of things such as compassion, love, and grace. It is believed that we must surrender our own desires or needs for that of the larger cosmic plan. The more you commit to healing and aligning your heart with your Soul, the easier it becomes to accept the aspects of spirituality.

It is your responsibility to tap into the connection of your divine presence. It’s scary to rely on faith and trust in yourself. It may require that you go against what other people think you should do or who you should be, but it’s possible to find happiness on this path.
The more we are guided spiritually, the more wisdom, joy, and peace can be attained. We need the balance and strength that comes from a faith in something beyond the confines of our minds. There is a great relief as we tune into our spiritual wisdom and faith because our minds attempt to make us believe in the false promises of the world. The mind tells us that we will be free of our hardships and turmoil if we work harder or make more money. But it is only through the connection to your divine being that ultimate freedom is possible. As you become emotionally healed you align more closely to your Soul where peace reigns.

By accepting and trusting that suffering and joys are part of a greater plan for our lives, we connect to our divine selves and loneliness is relieved. This requires welcoming the unknown and working through our fears. On the fearless path, shame softens into love, and guilt becomes compassion. We can walk in faith and know love. Love transcends the belief that the world will provide the relief we seek. Relief is within you and connected to your Soul.

Your spirit is the expression of your Soul. You are divine energy that is perfectly made with a unique and guided personality and purpose. Your Soul does not change, but your relationship to your Soul may change. Prayer, meditation, and spiritual work are things that connect to your Soul. The nature of prayer and meditation carries high vibration energy, which is more in tune with the vibration of divine energy. As you become one with your true self and create openness for the heart to give beyond what is materially possible, you connect with the frequency of divinity.

Spiritual faith is a belief structure that is unique to you. Beliefs are often based on what we’ve been told to believe. It’s important to discover your own beliefs and ensure they are attuned to your heart.
Be careful not to aim low in your spiritual quest. The mind can limit the possibilities of the world, including the potential of knowledge, our personal lives, love relationships, and spiritual beliefs. Harnessing divine energy makes all things possible, including the extraordinary.

If we allow ourselves to witness the divine order of things, we can see miracles happen every day. They may not be life-saving miracles with neon lights, but the miracles and connection of life become huge in the eyes of a spiritually tuned in person. This is the divinity that connects us to each other.

Leah Guy is an intuitive transpersonal healer, spiritual teacher, professional speaker, and media personality.
