21-43 Halloween Fun & Safety

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from October 26th

Halloween is coming up and it is going to be different again this year. We know our kiddies love dressing up and having fun Trick and Treating if they are allowed to this year. We can make it fun and safe for them no matter the restrictions. Have a party at home with your close friends (that applies to adults too), hide the treats and make it a hunt.

Your school may have a dressing up day, but for those that don’t, because of religious reasons or? we can still share the candy and joy if not the reason behind the day. We do not have to buy an outfit, mix and match what you already have, and go to town with the makeup, get creative.

Now to those who are going to suffer from the fireworks, please know this is serious and we can do laser lights to music, drones, and other things and not the loud fireworks that cause so many problems for so many living beings. Let not our momentary joy cause so much pain and suffering for those who fear the loud bangs and for our creatures who will be affected because of them.

HAVE A GOOD TIME WHILE BEING MINDFUL AND RESPECTFUL PLEASE.

21-42 Cold-Flu Solutions & Etiquette

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from October 19th

I have just had my first cold of the season, I am hoping not to have any more, but I did not build my system up in time for this one. ECHINACEA and VIT C are great in building up your immune system and protecting you from cold and flu season, I just had not started my regime yet.

If you get a cold or the flu, please stay at home. First of all, it is better for you to rest, drink warm fluids, and get over the worst of it. Secondly, you do not need to pass it on, especially to vulnerable people who are subject to covid. Thirdly, it can prevent other colds or viruses getting you if you take care of this one now and rebuild your immune system.

Get well, your body does not want you to push through it, rest heal, and do not pass it on. In these times, we do not want to get sick or cause a panic amongst people who fear covid or just getting sick as it weakens your immune system, we can prevent it, and if we do fall ill, heal the old fashioned way and with so many holistic means, as seem below.

The body knows what it needs, so listen, and society knows what it needs so please respect and do not pass any of it on or just suck it up, no one wants your cold. Fear weakens the system and plays havoc with the mind, so if you do get the chills, know you can do something about it and that it requires you to nurture and love they self well again.

My Birthday View of Life

Sara Troy

As I reflect on my last 66 years of my life on my birthday, (OCT 6th I turn 67) I see that I have had a roller costa life, there have been many ups, and downs, many adventures. I have seen wondrous things around the world, I have lived many lives , and in this one lifetime too, and I have discovered who I really am and what I am here to do.. I did not always live for me but bent myself into a pretzel trying to please everyone else. NO MORE, for you cannot please all people , there will always be those who are dissatisfied with you, so do it for you.

Now on my 67th-year I look back on the last few years of my life and work, and I stand proud of what I have achieved and with whom I am today. I am not financially rich, (still working on that) but I have become truly abundant in purpose and enriched by what I do, and in the strength and courage, I see within me now. I stepped into my now and allowed my purpose to unfold, and now in that enrichment, I feel soul, heart, and spirit full, I thank my family, friends, and those who have been there for me all in so many ways, for without you I would not have become who I am today.

I wish to thanks all those who have loved and supported me and sent me so many birthday wishes.

A CONTENT ENRICHED MEANINGFUL PERSON. May you all find your path, may it be clear for you, and may the wind be in your sails leading you to your possibilities.

21-39 Thank you Montreal

Saras View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from September 28th

Well after 41 years in Canada I finally went to Montreal. I went with my 88 year old friend Lucette Audrey whose home it was. She wanted to see her city one more time. Seeing the city through her eyes was wonderful, she has a child like enthusiasm that sweeps her along with you flapping after her. Her energy is abundant, but after 30 miles in 3 days she finally was tired.

We were so lucky with the weather, it was warm the entire time, and even hot on some days. We walked and walked seeing all her memories of a life lived there some 60 years ago. Yes we got lost at times, but that was ok, because there was always something to discover.

We did the Big Wheel and saw the city from greater heights. We walked St Catharines street, Rue de Denis , St Laurent where we found many a good restaurant and with the streets being closed of, a lot of entertainment.

It is good to see the wonderful history that is Montreal, the culture and the vibe is very inviting. People are so friendly, and both French and English are spoken there. We went to a concert Rafael, it was wonderful to her such uplifting music again. We walked through McGill university grounds and saw all the student sitting on the grounds studying of chatting with each other.
