The accession of dying, as there is so much death in the world right now, we need to know that our divine energy has a chance to come back and live again that dying is not the end.

You are here and now! You are here and you are AWARENESS! Awareness, energy, consciousness are your true self- the I AM.

Knowing this truth, living this truth creates an awake-ness. It creates and attracts serenity in your world. Keeping this Light and rooting your felt-ness or oneness with divine awareness means that every second of your Life can be peaceful-

Including when you exit your body to lift off and upwards into the non-physical!

Transitioning from your physical body vehicle into pure Source energy is a natural process and is built by Nature to set you up for the journey. While there are certain strategies that can help you lift off smoothly and with grace, let us first re-condition and re-educate our mind-bodies that transition is normal, fun, and like a great adventure!

Affirmations are a great way to affirm, calm, and train the mind-body-spirit that all is well at the time of transition, that we are accompanied and in fact surrounded by Light Beings, and that this new frontier IS pure Love- not separate from who we truly are. A few examples of these affirmations could be:

-I am energy and energy is eternal and indestructible

-I am a Light Being and my true essence is eternal Life

-My transition to the non-physical is divinely guided and I trust in Source as I leave my shell behind

-I see the transition experience as a lift off, just like a rocket blasting off into the sky- wooooohoooo!!!!

-I like the idea of going into my non-physical Light Being!

-Like a child in a bouncy house, I understand that leaving my body will be boisterous/bouncy fun, a time for exploration!

-I now release any false beliefs, imagery, and old thought patterns about transition and embrace a positive, loving, and healthy image about lift off!

Create several perfectly tailored affirmations that your mind-body are in alignment with, then read them, speak them aloud, let them flood your consciousness all through your day!

He will detail how he first found the romantic cyber world and the pitfalls he encountered. His reactions to his own behaviour while in the cyber-world nearly ruined his personal life. He will talk about the nature of the cyber world, a place where because of technology you can be anybody or anything you want to be. It is his belief that such cyber-relationships are not real, just fantasy and illusion and, if not kept in check (the proper perspective), can erode the human spirit.

“Putting Out The Self-Loathing Fire”

The journey of self-actualization (I call it the struggle for authenticity) is lifelong. For me and for millions of others, it can be and has been excruciatingly emotionally painful at times. However, for those struggling, there is a way out. It’s not easy. It takes brutal honesty and courage to overcome. After months of one-on-one therapy, I believe the only way to truly self-actualize is to dig deep, to introspect, and to do the hard work that will erase the negative limiting self-beliefs that can and will continue to reinforce self-loathing. You will have setbacks and you will make mistakes (I certainly have), but you will have small victories, too. I ultimately belief these small accomplishments can be built upon and lead you to success.

My own personal struggles dealing with self-loathing were the result of two significant events in my early life, events that took place before the age of fifteen. The extreme self-loathing created by these significant events fueled an extreme need for acceptance and love–not self-acceptance and self-love–but finding acceptance and love from others. The first event, being sexually assaulted, destroyed many parts of my self-esteem. It was not good. It sucked. The second event further reinforced my feelings of inadequacy AND added even more psychological destruction to my already fragile sense of self. Without going into too much detail about it, let’s just say it concerned the behavior of a parent and it created more confusion for me on the important subject of marital fidelity.

I will be sharing my personal journey for self-actualization with you in the hopes that my story will help others suffering from similar circumstances and feelings. One of the subjects that I will be exploring will be online relationships. Drawing upon my own experiences, I hope to expose the pitfalls of looking for acceptance and love in the digital world, a world full of fantasy and illusion. I know firsthand that millions are suffering. In the process, I hope to heal myself and my marriage and not add any more fuel to my self-loathing fire.

Joyce was raised in the Christian religion and was a firm believer in what she had been taught. However, all of that began to change when she became a psychotherapist and discovered that the evidenced based practices she had been taught, while great at managing symptoms, did little to cure the problems her clients came in with. Because she believed that God was a healing God, she knew that healing needed to come through spiritual means. She studied how Jesus healed and discovered he used the eastern based beliefs of transferring spiritual energy. Well, this went against everything she had been taught, that eastern based alternative new age healing came from the devil and was to be avoided. With initial fear and trepidation, Joyce ventured into this field and discovered a whole new world of healing and spirituality that resonated with her spirit but conflicted with the Christian beliefs. God challenged her one day to give up everything she believed and start over. This took Joyce on a fascinating journey of discovering how much of her beliefs about life, relationships, religion, healing and many other topics had been based in fear instead of love. Since God is love, anything based in fear could not come from God and had to be released. Today, Joyce uses the things she has learned to help her clients heal from their past and present issues so they can have loving connections with themselves, others and God.oyce is available to speak to groups about any of the subjects in either of her books.

Scott A. Huesing is a retired the United States Marine Corps Infantry Major with 24 years of honourable service, both enlisted and as a commissioned officer. During his career spanning 10 deployments, he has conducted operations in over 60 countries worldwide. Throughout his numerous deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Horn of Africa he planned, led, and conducted hundreds of combat missions under some of the most austere and challenging conditions.

Scott is a published author since 2005. His upcoming book, Echo in Ramadi, (due out February 2018, Regnery) is a ten-month snapshot in time that changed the face of operations on the battlefield; a captivating story of Echo Company, 2d Battalion, 4th Marines during the Second Battle of Ramadi in support of the Multi-National Forces (MNF) Surge Strategy in 2006. His true-life account provides keen insights into what may be an unfamiliar world to readers, but very familiar to those, like Scott, who lived it and endured this historic fight. Echo in Ramadi was written to honour the sacrifices and spirit of his Marines and the families they supported – it is his tribute to them and his honour to tell this great story. Readers will feel the pain, emotion, laughter, intensity, and friction that Scott describes in unvarnished detail.

Scott has written numerous articles and scholarly pieces for The Marine Corps Gazette and Military Times He has been a technical writer and author to U.S. Marine Corps doctrine shaping the future of training within the world’s most elite branch of service. He is the creative author on writing the standard operating procedures for Marine Expeditionary Units, America’s first response force, with The Lightning Press.
Scott is a formally trained instructor and public speaker with 25 years of experience teaching and getting his audiences to connect to the material he presents, both in the military and private sector. He has spoken to audiences as large as 2,000 conveying his thoughts, intent, and goals in order to motivate listeners. Scott’s natural, outgoing style makes him uniquely qualified and talented in communicating and translating his experiences to audiences to connect.
With the willingness to share his unique story and experiences, Scott dedicates his time to travel to military bases, NROTC programs, Veterans hospitals, corporate leadership conferences, Gold Star Mothers events, and a multitude of venues to read and share the story of his epic journey and struggles. He is continually sought out to provide Professional Military Education to active duty units to speak on leadership and his combat experiences – and the importance of writing about them.

Scott is the Executive Director for Save the Brave Foundation, a certified 501c3 that connect Veterans through outreach to build the strength of character – part of their mission is continually staying proactive to the needs of the Veterans they are honoured to serve.
Scott currently lives in Southern California with his family.

RAISING AWARENESS FOR

VETERAN SUICIDE ONE MILE AT A TIME

On Friday July 22nd, Major Scott A. Huesing USMC (Ret), the Bestselling Author of Echo in Ramadi is riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle across the country again for Save the Brave (STB) to raise awareness for Veteran Suicide. Huesing (51), the Executive Director of Save the Brave (501c3) began this ride in 2020 to honor his high school friend and veteran, David W. White (aged 48), who died from alcohol poisoning on Sunday, June 7, 2020, in Butte, Montana. Huesing will ride from Bastards Canteen in Temecula, California to Palmetto Brewing Company in Charleston, South Carolina.

During the 9-day journey, Huesing will make several stops to ask supporters to donate to STB and ride along with him on his journey to raise awareness for veteran suicide – emphasizing that these are not statistics anymore, they are friends and sons and brothers that we all know. He’ll be joined by fellow veterans and riders from every state he passes through amidst the heat of July. Their goal – $100,000.

When asked, “Why did you pick July to make this ride?” Huesing responded, “I didn’t pick the month – the month picked me. If nothing else, it’s a reminder to everyone who joins me along the way that maybe we need to suffer a little bit to be reminded exactly why we are riding.” Veterans dealing with depression, alcohol abuse, and PTSD are especially impacted by the isolation this pandemic has caused in many cases.

This is a unique opportunity to stay connected as veterans and as communities while supporting a worthwhile charity.

The Pink Lady, dynamic Jackie Goldberg, now 85, became a widow 15 years ago. Her children were no longer at home, her 9 to 5 job was over and she felt it was time to begin a new chapter in her life. She created a series of seminars called, “Get Up, Get Out, & Get a Life!” to encourage baby boomers, seniors and veterans to follow new paths and open new doors to enhance their lives. At the same time, Pink Lady began appearing in stage plays and commercials. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity; in fact, she appeared in a Super Bowl Commercial for Loctite.

Prior to reinventing herself, Pink Lady worked in the fashion industry; dressing in pink became her trademark. Her philosophy of life is to “Think Pink!” to see the love and inner beauty in everything and everyone around her, and to feel the energy and aura that a colour can give us by letting people see life through rose-colored glasses.

Pink Lady of Hollywood is a force of nature. She’s a producer, an actress, member of Actor’s Equity and SAG-AFTRA, author and community builder, trailblazer, founder, and motivational speaker. And it’s true what people say – being around her is like getting a shot of vitamin C! She has an amazing ability to lift and energize all those around her.

Pink Lady is deeply motivated by her belief that, “Theatre is central to what older adults need in terms of connection, motivation, and enthusiastic participation.” With this conviction, she founded, Senior Star Power Productions, whose mission is to engage, inspire and enrich the lives of seniors and veterans through the performing arts. They offer workshops, mentoring programs, performance opportunities and master classes to inspire, educate, and embrace all seniors and veterans so they can further develop as vital, productive, and creative people.

Despite the reality that everyone ages, society and the media influence and reinforce negative attitudes resulting in unfair prejudices against ageing and older adults. Within the entertainment industry, the roles for older actors get diminished and typecast. They are portrayed as fragile, dependent, helpless, unproductive and demanding rather than deserving of our respect and admiration. Jokes poke fun at ageing, memory loss and physical impairments. Not fair and often untrue!

One of the greatest gifts Pink Lady gives the world is how she challenges stigmas about ageing that seniors face on a regular basis. She has become a powerful voice of today’s 60+ community, that challenges skeptics and proves that it’s “absolutely possible to be vital, creative, enthusiastic, energetic, sexy, and “shout-out” fantastic.” Senior Star Power Productions produced fifteen musical reviews, including “Rockin’ With The Ages,” “The Beat Goes On” and “We Have a Dream.” These musical reviews feature the only talent that is 60+; some have extensive experience in the stage, film and TV industry; some are newcomers. Her shows are nothing short of bursting with talent!

In her latest book, “Get Up, Get Out, & Get A Life! It Ain’t over Til I Say It’s Over” you’ll read, “I believe I’m a perfect example of what the right attitude and gratitude can do for you. You need to know who you are and realize there is still a lot of livin’ to do. The purpose of life, after all, is to live it. This is truly our time to live life to the max-to taste each experience and to live in the present moment, wisely, lovingly and with enthusiasm. Last Veterans Day, she produced the Senior Star Power 2016 Talent Competition “America Salutes Our Veterans,” held in the SOLD OUT 1300 seat Historic Wadsworth Theatre located on the VA Grounds in West Los Angeles. At the event was an impressive list of Honorary Co-Chairs, Host Committee and award recipients, including Mayor Eric Garcetti, Congressman Ted Lieu, Former Congresswoman Diane Watson, Council Members Mitch O’Farrell, Jose Huizar, David Ryu, and Mike Bonin; Dodger Great, Tommy Lasorda; “Tie A Yellow Ribbon” Tony Orlando and Ann-Margret and many more. The audience was incredibly impressed by the sheer level of talent they witnessed, 29 performers each day; It was nothing short of sensational!

In 2018, Pink Lady will open a year-round destination Theatre, The Senior Star Power Theatrical Arts Complex in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area, benefitting the entire community. She produces the ONLY SENIOR THEATRE in Southern California.
