At the beginning of COVID, I became a single mother of 7. My significant other not only left but he took the family business with him. I had one month to find a job or figure out a way to monetize an income and support the family that was relying on me and I did not know what I was going to do.
Instead of panicking, I decided to hit the pause button and look around to see what I already had that I could monetize. My oldest daughter and I started discussing what was going on in the world and what skills she and I both had and then this idea came into her head about how artists use reels to audition and not just a resume. They share themselves and their talents before they even get a call. Why was the business world not doing this same thing? We needed to make it.
The purpose and benefit of My Resume Reel is to help the 20Million unemployed workers stand out among a sea of over-saturated candidates and to help recruiters shorten their recruitment time exponentially. They get to meet, see, relate to & understand the type of person that the job seeker is before they even make a call or get on a social media site.
Anne is a mother of 7, an entrepreneur and former fortune 500 leader who has spent countless hours recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring, leading and teaching other leaders how to hire the right talent for the right positions. I grew up in a country where being sexually active at 12/13 y/o was normalized. Teen pregnancy was (and still is) a common occurrence. By the time I was 12, I was already making out with 15/16-y/o boys. By the time I was 13, I was making out with a 23-y/o man. It was normal for young women to date much older guys. Enter the movie “Cutie” on Netflix. After reading so many posts of distraught women bashing Netflix for the hypersexualization of children for the way they were promoting the show, I decided to watch it for myself and gather my own opinions on it. If all you got from it was the hypersexualization of children, you missed very significant pieces and layers, including what leads to these issues. As I watching the show, I was reminded of my own experiences and things I saw growing up
– Poverty
Religious and cultural oppression of women
Peer pressure
Lack of open communication between parents and children
There’s so much I want to say about these points and how some of them directly impacted me as a tween/teen and then as an adult. I’m still gathering my thoughts…One thing I’ll say is that as I look at my own girls (22, 15, and 12), I’m grateful that their experiences so far have been very different than mine at their respective ages. We don’t protect our children by hiding things from them. We protect them by having open dialogue and communication – something I did not have growing up. I hope that instead of freaking out over things, we can actually have open and honest conversations, especially as women, because if we want to change the way children are hypersexualized, we need to start by confronting the issues that lead to it, including the demons in our own closets..

How to become your own Inner Alchemist to Transform Trauma and Challenges into opportunities to grow, heal and live your life in greater peace, happiness and success.
The term that fits most accurately what I am and do is I am a Consciousness Alchemist.
Alchemy it the process of transmutation and transformation of the crude into the refined. Such as ore becoming Gold through the hot fires it is immersed in to remove impurities.
In the same way Inner Alchemy is the process of transmuting the ‘negative’ patterns, beliefs and habits, usually born of trauma, that block and impede our personal empowerment and evolution to be our true self.
Having healed from trauma and transformed my life by applying the principles and wisdoms I gleaned from my world travels and studies, I know deeply the work involved in overcoming loss, pain, depression, anxiety, paranoia, and never feeling enough.
After 25 years of practicing a multitude of healing modalities and techniques, working with well over 6000 clients, I have now distilled the essence of what is needed to become your own Inner Alchemist where the outer world no longer has the same debilitating impact as it often can.
I empower my clients by teaching a method to access and awaken to their innate wisdom and inner guru, that has their unique answers.
