C24-13. Jeane Lynch Mediating Transitions

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Jeane Lynch, on air from March 26th

Having experienced, and successfully navigated many life changes and transitions myself, I can look back on the growth and benefits of those events.

Victor Frankl – last of human freedoms -to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances – to choose one’s own way when we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves

So important for clients to change their mindset / thinking / assumptions to be able to move forward towards a new and positive future

Transition and change are often scary and filled with uncertainty, lack of clarity, anxiety and fear, with people being stuck and feeling helpless and hopeless.

However, transition and change can be empowering and lead to a bright future with the right insight, support and tools. I use the butterfly as a metaphor both for the (a) butterfly effect – where a butterfly flapping its wings in the Amazon, could cause a typhoon somewhere else in the world. Thus, small actions or steps can have a significant ripple effect and impact, which can change the course of one’s life. One just needs to start with small steps to move forward and to move through the overwhelm.

(b) the metamorphosis that occurs in the butterfly cocoon – Life transitions and challenges can be the catalyst for major transformation and growth

In my practice I emphasize the transformative power of family mediation and divorce or transition coaching, and how it can turn uncertainty, chaos and conflict into harmonious resolutions and a future with hope. But most importantly in Family Law to keep people out of court to save thousands of dollars.

I grew up in South Africa, and emigrated to Australia in my 30s I was a Librarian which I loved, and worked in different libraries, until I had my children. I then worked part-time in many different fields.    In my 60s I felt the urge to do something challenging, that could lead to a meaningful use of my time and give a sense of purpose in my Third Age. The ‘R’ word (retirement) didn’t feature in my vocabulary!  I did a post-graduate law degree online and was admitted as a solicitor.  However, I was more drawn to mediation than litigation, and went on to study Family Dispute Resolution as part of my Masters of Law and other courses, including Separation and Divorce Coaching and Transition and Recovery Coaching, and started my solo practice, hope and harmony coaching and mediation last year.

Just to add an initiative of mine to get certified divorce coaches recognized in AUSTRALIA:

Divorce Coaching is fairly new in Australia, unlike in the USA where it is recognized by the American Bar Association. I was one of the first cohorts to be trained and certified in Australia in 2021.

There are however many untrained and non-certified coaches who call themselves divorce coaches, which can jeopardise and discredit the reputation of genuine divorce coaches.

I did a presentation with two colleagues for their Board and listeners as a CPD event. We have been recognised in principle, however there are a few more processes for full recognition.

My vision is for a national register by the Attorney General Department where the legal system can access divorce coaches as the first port of call, as a dispute resolution process, to keep people out of court, for the protection of children, and saving thousands of dollars in legal fees, time and stress.

Thus, last year I approached a few Dispute Resolution agencies and organisations to gain professional recognition and accreditation.

I have been in consultation with ADRA – Australian Dispute Resolution Association, to that effect.

BB24-12. Todd Sanford’s REAL coaching

Building Your Business with Sara Troy and her guest Todd Sanford, on air March 19th

In November 2015 I was fighting a fire in an attic. I fell nine feet and landed on the top of my head. I fractured my neck and seven other vertebra in my back. The doctors said there was no medical reason I survived the fall. I have always known God had a bigger calling for my life. After retiring from the fire department, I became a certified Financial Coach through Dave Ramsey and focus on helping people overcome the stress of dealing with their financial situations.

I have now completed another coaching certification program through Kingdom Builders Academy and am a small business consultant. I help small businesses grow to levels never thought possible by focusing on their employees health and wellbeing.  My belief is that no business will ever reach its true potential until all the employees are satisfied and happy with their own personal life.  Then and only then can you truly grow your business to levels never dreamed of before.

I also coach men and help them deal with what keeps them awake at night worrying. I give them the tools to become less stressed, more successful, and happier with the life God has called them to live.

I provide both 1 on 1 coaching and group coaching and business consulting.

YH24-12. Jacalyn Price & Hydrating Water.

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Jacalyn Price, on air from March 19th

My WHY, sharing the importance of hydration, our bodies are 70% water, what water are you drinking. Think of your stomach as a positive magnet. When you drink from your tap water it has a positive charge, it enters the stomach and sits there, sloshing around, before it slowly enters the intestines and the rest of the body. Whereas Kangen water has a negative charge, is absorbed immediately and goes to all the cells in your body. It also detoxes your body, from the chemicals you ingest from food, any illness you have had, the medications you take, all affect your body. Most illnesses come from dehydration. I was introduced to Kangen water when I had a flare up of bronchitis which I couldn’t shift, I was advised the solution is water, but not just any water. I haven’t looked back and have had no further problems.

Drinking from bottled water has high risks as well. Every time you crinkle the bottle, you ingest the chemicals from the plastic.

24-11. Our Wealth is in Our Global Community

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air from March 12th

We won’t find wealth until we see the wealth in unity in our community, for that wealth of knowledge, care and collaboration are what builds a community to enrichment and love.

CeOPPuZUkAAgDj0

We do not have dollar signs above our heads, we are not for sale, we are not a commodity.

Our wealth currency is in our actions, in our participation, in our kindness in who we are in our contribution.

Our wealth is in our self-respect and in the respect of others.

Our wealth is in our journeys, in our pain, in our sorrow in our triumphs.

Our wealth is in our courage in our strength, in our ability to face anything and still thrive.

Our wealth is in how we treat others, in our kindness towards them, our caringness of those in need, our help to anyone who asks, our ability to share love freely.

Our wealth is in how we speak to each other, to our selves, to the world.

Our wealth is in our giving, sharing, teaching, caring, learning, loving without an agenda.

Our wealth is in our embracement of diversity, our celebration of cultures, of faiths, of colour, of gender, of perspectives.

Our wealth is in UNITY, in coming together to build, to care, to heal, to support, to guide to love one another to enrich our world as a family of one.

Our wealth is in each others knowledge, in the knowingness, in the divine truth that is within us all.

Our wealth is in our health, our thoughts, our words, our actions our interactions and our intent.

Let our wealth grow, let us enrich each other, let us celebrate our differences, learn from them, open our minds, care for who we are, who we wish to be, who we are meant to be.

Let us feed the possibilities create the opportunities, seed the tomorrows and water them with love.

Let us look to what can be as a collective of nations, what we can make together, what seeds can grow with our collective love, and how in unity, community, as individuals we can, because we choose to make this a world that flourishes for all that inhabit it, for all who contributes to it, for all who choose to believe in this abundant wealthy world of today and our tomorrows.
