I came done with 2 viruses and then bronchitis, which means I had to cancel a few shows last week and reschedule them for another time. I hate having to do that, but life happens and sometimes is out of our control, and that is ok.
So this week with a husky chest and splutter nose I did 6 shows, and that also ok, for again life happens and we do our best with what we have. WE PUT SO MUCH PRESSURE ON OUR SELVES TO DO IT ALL AND WHEN WE CAN’T WE BARATE OURSELVES. NOT GOOD, FOR TRYING TO LIVE UP TO AN IMPOSSIBLE EXPECTATION WILL ONLY LET US DOWN.
It is OK to say no, to change appointments, to take time to heal, to reschedule, no one will think bad of you, and if they do, then don’t do business with them. We have to pace our selves, lay out the priorities and sometimes say no to things if there is something else you need to do. I have a dream that I wish to see through, will I make it? I don’t know but I am going to try and achieve it, I just have to schedule my self into trying. If I don’t get there, that is ok, for I am proud of what I have achieved thus far, and what ever is to come, will be.
Some times we need to take a step back and ask ourselves if we are going in the right direction or can we redirect, re-prioritize and not let others expectation dictate our way for us. What ever it is, it is ok to say no, I can not, need to reschedule and re look at our own balance of life.
Take the time for you to be you, not just what you are doing, but being.

If you told me back in April of 2012 that I would be podcasting for 10 years and growing, I would have laughed at you, but here we are, it is 10 years of podcast hosting with 9 years in June of my own network.
One never knows where our path will lead us, but if we are willing to walk it, we do discover why it is leading us that way and what it is all about. It truly has been an extraordinary journey for me, one of personal growth, self discovery, enlightenment, and humility, and I love where it has led me to now.
You can not hear the stories of such struggles, such abuse, such neglect, such venerability, and not be affected by those who CHOSE to walk away from the anguish that was imposed upon them and to embrace their own self-discovery. Their courage discovered, their strength revealed, abilities shown and love of self embraced, it truly is the most illuminating thing one can hear and be a part of, for it shows us just how abundant, enriched, and flawsome we really are and what we are capable of if we try.
I am exceedingly proud of the trust that people have put in me in sharing their stories, and in how not only have they referred me, but come back again to continue to inspire and invite us all to rise up to our own awesomeness. To you all, I thank you, for without your honesty, trust, and venerability, we would not be able to inspire so many in choosing to walk into their own personal growth of abundance.
We are so much more capable than we know, so much stronger, resilient and courageous, if only we choose to step away from fear and past conditioning, and decide to walk forward to a more meaningful fulfilling, and enriching life.
With approximately 2700 shows under my belt, and with so many more to come, I am going for the next ten years to bring you more of the divine exuberant, and empowering people that you would ever want to know. Remember this, whatever notoriety they may have in their lives now, they also had to walk the path of self-discovery and pick from the Orchard of Wisdom to allow themselves to grow and become the illuminating people that they are today. It is in all of us, we just need to decide to walk away from outdated patterns and beliefs and embrace our true essence and divine ability that is our journey in life.

Super Heroes, fighting the bad guys, warding off evil, there are so many TV shows movies games, etc, that build the superhero up to solving all our problems. There is a major flaw in this, it is feeding the need for an enemy, someone evil to fight, when the fight is always within us and in what we create around us.
We get excited about creating or supporting an enemy. Why does someone or a particular party get so much attention for instigating discord, hate, fear, ego, and lack, when we have so many good people doing so much for humanity? Is it an avoidance of our own discord, our own inner imbalance? and that it is easy to fight externally than internally.
Is it not sexy enough to have a more peaceful solutional view on life? do we love living in constant turmoil? Do we think we are thriving on all this imbalance? Where is the gain? all it does is cause a physical, mental, and spiritual dis-ease that leads to illness and a lack of everything in our lives.
THERE IS A BIG INTEREST IN KEEPING CERTAIN PEOPLE DOWN, EDUCATIONALLY, FINANCIALLY, SPIRITUALLY, AND ACCORDING TO RACE. THE ENEMIES IN POWER DO NOT WANT PEOPLE TO RISE UP BECAUSE THEY WILL LOSE CONTROL. FEAR SELLS, DIVISION SELLS FEAR, AND IF WE WANT TO COMBAT THAT, WE NEED TO BE RISE UP TO A HIGHER FREQUENCY OF LOVE, PURPOSE, AND ENLIGHTENMENT AND BECOME THE UNITED HERO’S THAT SAY NO MORE. FOR THAT YOU HAVE TO SET YOURSELF FREE FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
I interview people who have chosen to walk away from the world of turbulence and for their sanity, health and abundance, have chosen to live a more enriching life that not only gives them more purpose and fulfillment but also serves the whole of society in a far greater manner.
If we need a hero so much, why do we not see the true heroes all around us and that lie deep within us? There are so many who have fought the inner battle, the outer infliction of pain and anguish, but because they went through it in courage, strength, and a willingness to be free, they are now able to live in wonderful possibilities and some awesome abilities; they thrive today and shine bright and shows us how to do the same.
So seed the seeds of love, water nurture and shine loving warmth on those seeds, and become the fruit of love and light in our own life and in the lives of others. We have enough enemies, there is enough hate in the world, and to much division, it is time to see the hero’s of light and love and appreciate them for being that hope, that encouragement, being that teacher and shining so bright in inspiration, for these are the true hero’s and there is a hero within you, just waiting for you to ignite.

Chinese New Year 2022 will see the water Tiger come bounding in. After 12 long months of metal Ox and taking cautious steps forward now, we have completely different energy.

Enter the Horse (2014) is the best year in my mind, as I am a horse myself. Cheerful, popular, quick-witted, and earthy. The horse falls in and out of love easily. They are magnetic and commanding which can be presided as militant and aggressive at times although this is not so. Impetuous, energetic, and a flashy dresser. The horse although a non-conformist can be relied on to be accountable and honest. The horse will always be there for the underdog and has the ability to see both sides and counsel each of them well. Demanding a great deal from fellow workers they can and will just as eagerly work by your side as long as you know that they are the boss. Horses love freedom and pursue happiness at every corner. Being a person that feels their way around and who is constantly changing to the environment, they feel deeply and can be perceived as being moody, they are just adjustable people. The graceful Sheep/ Goat (2015) who is righteous, sincere, and a sucker for sad stories. They are fashionable, artistic, and creative but can be depressed and withdrawn. Unfortunately, the sheep/goat instead of standing up for their rights is timid and is more inclined to sulk rather than demand. Straight to the point is not their way and they wish you to find out what is bothering them rather than they tell you. Martyrs and worriers and are pessimistic about life and are inclined to look to the worst rather than the best of things. Romantic by nature, they wished to be pursued and fought for, the sheep need to be in a respectful loving marriage to survive, secure in life love, and mind. They have their favourites and if you’re not one of them do not take offense that is just the way it is. Neither forgiving nor forgetting is something they do easily, so don’t hurt them.

The mischievous Monkey (2016) is an innovative, improviser, and motivator. The monkey is most like the man himself. The likable Dog (2018) (another of my children) is honest, intelligent, and direct. They are the most loyal and trustworthy of creatures and have much passion for Just as and fair play. Dogs are friends to all people and are fair listeners meeting people halfway. Dogs will look out for everyone no matter what but are inclined to neglect themselves and leave themselves vulnerable. The dog has a great understanding of humans and instinctively knows right from wrong, who to believe, and who to be wary of. When a dog loves, it is with all its heart and loyalty, this is often taken advantage of and the dog often gets hurt. Forgiveness is strong and even if they move on they will remember the once-loved one fondly. Do not push the dog into a corner, they will instinctively come out fighting in any which way. In love, the dog likes to get to know their suitor slowly as trust is an issue, but once trust is in place, they will encourage growth in their loved ones and equilibrium in their lives. As it is with children the dog will act like a playful puppy when young and will take the time to learn the ways of the world, but what is nice is that they will never lose their playfulness. All in all a dog is a very good person to have in your life in any way.

The steadfast Pig (2019) is, of all the signs, one of honesty and of a real genuine person. The pig is the ultimate diplomat, balancing both sides and keeping the peace. The pig is those people that make everything happen with ease so as you do not notice it even happening, but notice if they are not there. They socialize very well and like to be in the company of up-and-coming people, though they prefer to watch from a distance. Excellent in the line of fundraising and social work, the pig does not mind being truly committed to the cause. The pig is a little too trusting and allows themselves to be exploited by others without knowing it. In love, the pig is devoted and does everything for their loved ones except perhaps discipline them well, as they do not like confrontation. The pig is unselfish and caring and is very good to have as a friend if their motives are not interfering or judgmental.
First came the Rat, (1997) with its charm and innovative personality the rat uses its wit and intelligence and has been known to be crafty, forthright, and an excellent businessman/woman, who is always alert to new opportunities. The rat is much underestimated, due to the very fact that it is a rat. They are very intuitive gregarious and smart people who will use their charm and smarts to get them to the top. Never underestimate them, they do not miss a thing and remember a lot. Whereas the tiger, horse, and others are at the forefront, the rat does not mind taking the back stairs to get where they are going. They know they will get there and are not afraid to give someone else the limelight.

Then came the Ox, 2009 prosperous through fortitude and hard work, the Ox is dependable, calm methodical, and stubborn. Many Ox‘s held positions of power and their fairness holds them in good stead. They like order, respect, tradition, and are predictable and honest. Alas in love the Ox does not quite know how to respond to romance but when they like you they will stand by you, loyally, but also may take a long time to commit, be patient they are solid people and worth waiting for. Although they have a lot of patients do not try it on too much, because when they lose it, it will be a terrifying experience. The rooster seems to understand the Ox best and the Goat and Tiger will not get along well at all. Give them time to do their stuff; it is worth waiting for the results.
Having had experiences with all of the signs, I have to say there is a lot in it. We take on the characters of the animals and unknowingly become them. I also believe that the “True Colours”, Zodiac and ‘numerology” plays a big part in it too. The Chinese take this all very seriously. This year, FEBRUARY 1st is Chinese New Year’s Eve, and it is welcomed with feasting and socialization. There are parades, and the Dragons and the Lions perform for money, reflecting the old times when they used to give protection money to the gods for said protection. Not much has changed there, except that it is done far more aggressively now.

Halloween is coming up and it is going to be different again this year. We know our kiddies love dressing up and having fun Trick and Treating if they are allowed to this year. We can make it fun and safe for them no matter the restrictions. Have a party at home with your close friends (that applies to adults too), hide the treats and make it a hunt.
Your school may have a dressing up day, but for those that don’t, because of religious reasons or? we can still share the candy and joy if not the reason behind the day. We do not have to buy an outfit, mix and match what you already have, and go to town with the makeup, get creative.
Now to those who are going to suffer from the fireworks, please know this is serious and we can do laser lights to music, drones, and other things and not the loud fireworks that cause so many problems for so many living beings. Let not our momentary joy cause so much pain and suffering for those who fear the loud bangs and for our creatures who will be affected because of them.
