Dianne Craptom

I Sara Troy have had the privilege of interviewing Dianne Crampton many times, and each conversation reveals another layer of her profound wisdom in the world of leadership and team dynamics. She consistently brings clarity, compassion, and a practical vision for what truly matters in business today.

Dianne once again—founder of the TIGERS 6 Principles and president of TIGERS Success Series. She is also the author of Becoming TIGERS: Leading Your Team to Success, a unique leadership parable told in the rich tradition of Native American storytelling. Within its pages, a father struggles to save his job as his passion turns to shouting and control—mirroring a timeless tale of two tiger brothers: one who leads through inspiration and collaboration, and another through fear and dominance.

Dianne explores how storytelling can gently shift mindsets, helping leaders move away from toxic habits and toward trust-based, cooperative workplaces. She also shares her vision for using Becoming TIGERS alongside the TIGERS Team Wheel game to help school counselors address the deeper roots of conflict and even reduce school violence.

Join us for a heartfelt and thought-provoking conversations on the power of story to transform the way we lead, work, and live together.

BB25-40. Dianne Crampton. Stories Shift Leadership

On this episode, we welcome Dianne Crampton, founder of the TIGERS 6 Principles and president of TIGERS Success Series. Dianne is the author of Becoming TIGERS: Leading Your Team to Success. In this unique leadership parable—crafted in the tradition of Native American storytelling—Dianne weaves a story within a story.

BB25-37. Dianne Crampton’s TIGERS Integration

I started TIGERS because I wanted to understand what makes a group of people truly work well together. As a manager, I was discouraged by how much emphasis was placed on individual achievement while the potential of people collaborating with purpose was ignored. I’ve always believed that employees aren’t costs to be controlled—they’re the real stakeholders in an organization’s success.

P15/13b T.I.G.E.R.S AMONG US

Dianne Crampton founded the TIGERS model for team development and teamwork in 1987. In 1990 she formed TIGERS Success Series to serve motivated leaders and teams looking for collaborative solutions to refine and improve their teamwork.

AK25-38. A Moon in All Things? by Jennifer Comeau

Authors Kiss with Sara Troy and her guest Jennifer Comeau, on air from September 23rd

Jennifer Elwell Comeau, author of the new book, A Moon in All Things? Perfect for readers enchanted by Irish folklore and stories that echo the timeless call of nature, A Moon in All Things reminds us that the true magic of life is waiting if we dare to reach for it.
Fans of Outlander’s Claire Fraser and The Frozen River’s Martha Ballard will love Comeau’s Morrigan Lane, who is fiercely devoted to discovering her healing gifts.

In the wild heart of 1820s Ireland, young Morrigan Lane hears the sea’s call—and her ancestors’ ancient voices. Born with a connection to the mystical lands of her Celtic heritage, Morrigan is no ordinary girl. She dreams of adventure, breaking free from the restrictions of village life, and, above all, sailing beyond the distant horizon.
But Morrigan finds herself pulled into a mysterious journey when a haunting vision of the Irish sea god, Manannán mac Lir, beckons her into his shadowy world. Against the backdrop of Ireland’s rugged cliffs and ancient stone circles, she must navigate myth and reality, confronting age-old traditions, family secrets, and the fierce expectations placed upon her as a young woman.

A Moon in All Things is a spellbinding tale of Celtic mysticism, forbidden dreams, and the resilience of the human spirit. Fans of historical fantasy and coming-of-age adventures will be swept away by Morrigan’s quest for self-discovery in a world where land and sea, myth and truth, are deeply intertwined.

She lives in Kennebunkport, Maine, where she works globally on restoring nature-human interconnection.

“Atmospheric and beguiling … Comeau uses the Irish setting … and tales of the Otherworld and Tuatha dé Danann to craft an ethereal, fablelike narrative. Morrigan, … friends, family, and fellow villagers, come alive … fitting perfectly into the picturesque village … Morrigan’s frustration with the imposed limits on her gender adds a fascinating dimension to the spooky tale..”—Kirkus Reviews

25-35. Into the Fall

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy, on air NOW

Fall is on its way, though with 30-degree temperatures, you’d never know it. The season whispers of change, yet in the world around us, we’re also witnessing a different kind of fall, the fall of an empire. America isn’t just stumbling; it’s cascading into some of its darkest days, a sobering reminder that not all falls are gentle.

There’s also the heartbreak of watching Gaza’s fall, the devastation of genocide, the horrific loss of life, and the erasure of a people’s hope. It is a fall humanity should never accept, yet one we must witness with open eyes and an open heart if we are to ever rise together again.

But fall can also mean something beautiful: falling into place. It’s when the pieces finally align, when what once felt scattered finds its natural order. That’s the kind of fall I choose to embrace, one of the grounding, harmony, trusting, and coming together.

Finding our pace in life after chaos can be done by falling into a rhythm. We can fall into faith, letting trust replace fear when the future feels uncertain. We can fall into grace, extending compassion to ourselves and others when the world feels harsh.

And then there’s the sweetest fall of all—falling for someone. This October, I’ll be falling head over heels in love with my third grandson, a new life arriving just as the leaves turn and the air shifts. A reminder that even in uncertain times, there are moments that fill our hearts and make every fall worth the journey.
