So inspired by her son King Zoom the Vegan Kid, ( see our show with him here) Gillian had to share his story of being a Vegan advocator. Now with two beautiful books on King Zooms journey, it invites us to see how being vegan from his eyes is so inviting.

Gillian Meghan Walters is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology. She is a member of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA).

Gillian’s work experience includes working with women, children and diverse populations in residential addiction treatment, psychiatric settings, elementary schools and private practice.

My counselling psychotherapy practice is based on the idea that body, mind and spirit are interconnected. I believe that our bodies hold the wisdom for our healing and recovery.
My approach to mental health and healing is person centered and trauma informed: which focuses on the strengths of the individual rather than the pathology.
I use a holistic approach to therapy; one that supports and deepens body-mind-spirit integration, by nurturing the expression of all senses.
I draw from Mindfulness practices, Life Span Development, Feminist Theories, Expressive Arts Therapy, Play Therapy, and Somatic Psychology.

Gillian is the creator and facilitator of two Body Mind Spirit Groups.
