TSM16/08 Teachings from God: with Courtney Amundson

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Courtney Amundson airs February 23

She May Only be a Teenager, but the Wisdom She is Bringing Forth is for the Ages

Ca4wT4hUkAAplx8Where most teenagers are worrying about wearing the right lip color, or following the right YouTube star, Courtney Amundson is only worried about whether the messages she is astonishingly being delivered from the Divine are reaching enough people. Because Courtney was a mere 16 when she began following in the footsteps of Esther Hicks, Jane Roberts, Edgar Cayce and JZ Knight as an extraordinary powerful channeller.

Now, a ripened 20 and wise beyond her years, she is introducing to the world Teachings from God, Greeting Your Soul and Revealing the Divine Within, a book of loving channelled wisdom brought forth to light mankind’s path in challenging times.

Courtney’s spiritual life began to awaken at the age of 12! Beginning to practice the ancient art of Qigong, she became aware that something was happening. She says “I started to experience more of myself. The meditations were so beautiful I found that’s all I wanted to do. I learned to move my own energy so that the channels in my body could remain open and flowing in a healthy way. I experienced my third eye opening.”

Her desire to know more welled within her and she committed to exploring this new path. In early 2012, she was guided to sit and meditate, and she immediately felt a natural and beautiful feeling “as if an angel was in my body, just pure golden light and a voice began to speak to me.” That’s when she began typing the words, as she described them “messages filled with a love bigger than anything I had ever experienced, a reverence for all of humanity and a wisdom that continues to expand me.”

                         Teachings from God:

Greeting Your Soul and Revealing the Divine Within

                              By Courtney Amundson

398bf291d1a0ab0a28654f484c6d00eaAnd now those messages are compiled in Teachings from God. In reading the words, the reader experiences an immersion in love, compassion, and encouragement. It’s as if you have your own heavenly cheerleading squad, heartening you, gentling nudging you in the direction of life-affirming choices. Through Courtney, the guides offer a perspective of one’s place in the cosmic landscape and how we can make the most of our time here on Earth while enhancing our eternal energetic footprint.

The book postulates a path to greater happiness, self-acceptance, understanding of ourselves and how we can make a difference by “sharing the truth, holding the love and sharing our magic.” The guides point the way toward getting into the natural flow and rhythm of life so that life becomes easier, more satisfying and more divinely guided. The book makes the reader remember our Oneness with all and encourages us to step fully into the awareness of living live as part of the greater whole.

The essence of Teachings from God is to uncover our true nature, the divine within, that once discovered will launch every person on a path of empowerment.  The teachings help seekers to find, discover, remember the limitless aspects of human capacity so that we can attain more freedom in our daily living.  Free from limiting beliefs that hold us back from our potential. Free to create outcomes that we dared not imagine previously. Free to live unencumbered, for those who dare to lift the veil.

Listen within to live out…..

TSM16/07 “Who I Am” with Gods Blessing

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Monika Wilczynska on air from February 16/07

TRANSGENDER. The Pope said I don’t care what your faith is as long as it is about love and kindness. So if a Transgender person wants to be in faith who are you to dictate NO.

Oriol

Who I Am is a drama short film based on true events, and is based on from the life of a friend of mine from Sweden, with an original script written by Monika Wilczynska . It is a coming of age tale about Elijah, a young transgender teenager from a very religious background, who has to try to reconcile their identity with their faith and their family’s expectations of them.

It is about believing in ourselves and not compromising our own integrity in order to please our surroundings.

Can an LGBTQ-identifying person benefit from religion whilst staying true to who they are? Why is it important to tackle identity in regards to religion? How restrictive is our perception of spirituality and divinity? Who I Am does not attempt to answer these questions but it aspires to open the dialogue to the public on subjects that have been under-represented or taboo for far too long.

A lot of progress has been made in the past few years regarding LGBTQIA community and rights, but we still have a long way to go. Especially with transgender people, who are, in certain places, even less accepted than the rest of the LGBTQIA community. By giving visibility and voice to a transgender character, we aim to not only bring to life an honest and candid portrayal of their daily struggles but also to help educate people who may have never been directly confronted with this subject matter.

Monika the filmmaker says, “I am interested in the subject of identity and how different human beings identify themselves versus how they are seen by society and portrayed by the media. Religion and spirituality are also an interest of mine because we are wired in such a way that our actions come from our beliefs. Most of our deep-rooted beliefs, as well as many social, economic and political systems are based on religious teachings; whether we ourselves are an atheist, agnostic or a member of a particular religion. Therefore changing, or at least questioning our beliefs can help a positive change in the world happen much faster.”

Paul O’Deawho plays Elijah

“I think having a voice as an artist is really important because we can speak up about issues that are close to our hearts but which are also socially relevant. Historically, creative people have always been pioneers when it came to ‘taboo’ subjects and revolutionary ideas. We are continuously being told that we are separate, that we don’t matter and that we cannot change the circumstances in which we live. But look at Rosa Parks, look at Martin Luther King, look at ‘Tank Man’ in Tiananmen Square. We do matter and the more we realize that the more we can achieve in a quicker amount of time. The first step to that is ending all sort of prejudice, especially one based on an individual’s ethnicity, religious affiliation or sexual orientation.”

Who I Am is aiming to help do just that.

When writing the script for Who I Am, it was important for me to stay true not only to the subject’s essence but also to the representation of a transgender person on screen. There is a history of misrepresenting transgender and non-binary characters by cis-gender people, and I wanted to steer clear of that. This is the reason why I not only spent countless hours talking with my friend on whom this story is based but also engaged with the transgender community through social media.

One of the reasons behind our fundraising campaign is our objective to screen this film at as many International Film Festivals as possible to raise awareness about its subject. We aim to submit it to Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, BFI Flare, San Francisco International LGBTQ Festival, Melbourne Queer Film Festival and Berlinale Film Festival (Teddy Award section) amongst others.

16/07 Following the Breadcrumbs of Misdirection

Sara’s View of Life with Sara Troy aired February 16th-22nd

RLC_Path-1024x325

If we pay attention there are always signs, the breadcrumbs to show us our way, but do they always show us the right path? We see the possibilities, what could be, what we want it to be, but maybe this was not the path at all but a misdirection.

How do we know? and once on the path do you continue forward or go back or REDIRECT?

We are all so bombarded by the exterior noise we don’t always hear our inner voice or our instincts and we override our gut our soul’s intuition. How to tune in, how to know when to retreat or how to redirect, for maybe that was the reason for following the breadcrumbs in the first place.

We can’t let the unknown stop us, for that is the journey of life, but being able to see when to adjust, redirect or retreat is key to not getting in any deeper than we need to.  Sometimes it is just meant to get us going, and when we see it is the wrong path but not the wrong journey we are more able to seek out or pay attention to another path along the way.

It is about being adjustable, adaptable and in-tune with our environment, for the signs are always there, we just have to learn to read them and follow our instincts and not someone else’s breadcrumbs.

Trying to stay Positive even if it Kills me, by Sam Hawksmoor

540245_208627949264933_14205711_nSay something positive says my sister back in Canada. Of course she would say that, running Choose Positive Living on Self Discovery Radio – but staying positive has been a battle in this past January.  The storms and floods. The endless rise of Trump defies logic – but suddenly you gain insight into how demagoguery mesmerizes. The American economy is doing well, growing even, but Trump keeps telling voters all is doomed. Perhaps Trumpism will all seem like a Bobby in the Shower moment after February. And indeed after Iowa it seems that way – except that Senator Cruz is crazier than Trump. Would be interesting to see Bloomberg enter the race and be the first Independent to win and break the Republican/Democrat duopoly of power. Right now Bernie is spoiling Hilary’s party and letting in a wedge for the Republican Rubio to come through.

Meanwhile as reported by our Spanish correspondent, Spain is in a complete political mess with no one it seems able to take power after an indecisive election. Even more odd, the worlds’ media have failed to notice that a major economy in Europe is in total meltdown. A decision has to be taken by Feb 22nd.

Worse, it turns out that Iran has been financing the extreme left-wing Podemos party in Spain that wants to take power there. ** As of 3.2.16 the Spanish King has requested the Socialists form a government with Podemos – so if you haven’t got your money out of Spain now, it will soon be too late.

Any comment on the fate of migrants draws such hostility from liberals – it’s hard to point out that uncontrolled migration is a ‘bad’ thing in Europe and UK putting enormous pressure on housing, healthcare, education and infrastructure, not to mention police.  With another two million expected to cross the Mediterranean this year one cannot see it ending ‘nicely’.  Clearly having Russia involved in bombing civilians in Syria on Assad’s behalf doesn’t help, but if we want to stop them coming then Assad has to be removed from power.  By any means.  And then billions spent on rebuilding the country he has devastated.  But until then they will keep coming… and tensions will continue to rise, as will the far right politicians in Europe.

Talking of Europe a deal is on the table for so called ‘reform’ but to be honest I don’t see that this is reform at all. Until all the crooks who waste trillions of Euros are held to account. Until sanity over borders and benefits is regained. I wonder what the British people will decide in June. In or out? The Brexit camp is confident despite much infighting.

Somali plane with hole Meanwhile there’s Islamic State and their continuing threats against pretty much everyone.  Including a man blowing himself up on a Somali plane and being sucked out of the fuselage through the hole he created. A miracle the plane managed to land safely in Mogadishu. That’s a positive thought there – almost.

So let’s hope that this February more miracles happen, the weather improves, your health is good and let it be known I am boycotting the Oscars because it is only shown at 3am in the morning on a channel I don’t have and to be honest I don’t see how you can compare The Big Short to The Revenant anyway.  For me, The Big Short was fun and explained a lot about the mess we are all in and The Revenant was harrowing in detail and an impressive bit of filmmaking.  The past was never glorious and eternally unforgiving.

My Journey Back to the REAL ME by Nina Bains

When seeking relief from painful relationships there are many things we must consider. We must consider our external world as well as our interior world.

image004-1

Rather than simply sorting through various medications or treatment modalities, we must consider our external world as well as our interior world.

It is possible to use our divorce as a catalyst for change and create a new life that is filled with promise, possibilities and freedom. I believe that people who come into our lives and mirror our buried emotions, they are here to wake us up to loving and healing ourselves.

My divorce taught me many things about taking responsibility for my emotions and connecting inwardly with my pain to sort through the layers for conditioning and arriving at a place of empowerment and clarity as a result.

When we look at the exterior world, we lay blame on others for contributing to the stress in our lives. I played the victim role for many years. Pointing my finger at others. As I looked outside myself for blame, I also looked outside of myself for healing. Many of the problems I was experiencing in my marriage came from my own self-denial.

I experienced health challenges as a result of being in a relationship that wasn’t serving me. I believe my body had developed a survival mechanism and shut down on me to cop with the situation.

In the course of my treatment I learned that my symptoms were manifested as a result of subconscious beliefs and cultural values and a lack of self love. I was living a life full of expectations of others, yet didn’t have my own voice. The treatment plan bought every symptom to the surface to heal, and for me to make connections to where I had manifested the symptom, and how it was still affecting my life today. Healing resulted from a combination of inner work and supplements and life coaching. I was coached through layers of illness that were embedded deep into my cells dating back to birth.

The root cause of all my problems was depression and now it had come up to heal. With a new outlook on life, I looked towards examining all aspects of my life. I could no longer, relate to my husband of 22 years. It was like I had woken up from a coma and the people in my life were total strangers, but it was actually me that had changed. I was now fully awake at the soul level and examining life at every turn. I set boundaries and had more expectations of my family for their support on staying healthy. I now expressed what I wanted from the people in my life. In 2015 my husband and I divorced.

13059475_512704162250033_428001648_nI found the real me underneath layers of symptoms. I had stuffed every emotion deep into my body, but never learned the tools and skills to deal with life. I now live life from the soul level and listen to the wisdom within that my body has to offer. Our body is our temple and its up to us how we nourish our soul. It was though my healing journey that I discovered my life purpose.

Today, I am in total control of my own emotional health.  I have transformed my life on all levels. Not only have, I changed my own life, I have changed the life of my two boys.  When I lived in emotional chaos my children also lived in emotional chaos.  My two boys are much happier and emotionally grounded.  All these positive changes happened, because, I took control of my own life as a mother and women.  My emotional health has also helped me gain clarity in other areas of my life such as having more financial freedom and making clear and grounded choices.  I now realize that our emotions are connected to every area of our lives.  Having emotional clarity also affects the way we deal with relationships. I now have more heart-centered and meaningful relationships.  My own healing journey has made me see that we are all connected in so many different ways.  I am excited about my new venture as a divorce coach, where I will be helping support women through the divorce process on an emotional level.

My dream is to show other women through my story, that living an empowered life is possible.
