C18-11 Raising Awareness of The Real Self: with Dr Vie

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Dr. Vie: on air from March 13th

Dr. Vie: Raising Awareness of The Real Self:

Super Conscious Humanity is the answer to a kind, non-violent, loving and blissful humanity.

AS LONG AS there is suffering, as long as there is regret, as long as there is little satisfaction in life, the human continues to search for a better life and something more.

But if you are suffering, why not put a stop to it?
If you are feeling regret, why not stop it?
If you are not satisfied, why not find something lasting instead of momentary?

What is it within the human that, even though he knows something is harmful to him, compels him to engage in action that ultimately drags him down to the pits of emotional torment and mental anguish?

“The answer lies in wait in every human, and the only way out is to unravel the real Self, and live fully in tune with your real identity, instead of living as someone else or for someone else,” says Dr. Vie.

DO ENJOY THE WISDOM

Dr. Vie (V) is of Indian lineage born in the throes of apartheid in South Africa and branded as “non-white.” Following an enlightening experience at age 16 as she was about to be killed by a soldier, her perspective of life changed.

“I left the country solo, something certainly uncommon in those days, for a tiny single Indian female. Since then, I’ve been living a nomadic life for +30 years on my own. An unplanned real-life adventure getting on my Life Express (as named in the Book); new places, a variety of peoples, numerous cultures, fantastic cuisines, foreign languages and of course many challenges.

What truly amazes me beyond the fascinating cities, towns and traditions, is the breathtaking natural environments as I hike high up in the mountain trails around the globe, sometimes with a guide and most often on my own.

The African ranges to the Himalayan peaks. Pristine air, sounds of nature, and the splendour of fauna and flora in their natural habitat resonated with me. Staring into the eyes of a young deer, strolling alongside a giraffe, and revelling in the dainty clasp of a hummingbird on my finger. Most often I am one with everything.

When I’m not exploring mountains, I share my personal revelations and insights to tens of thousands of all ages, from tiny tots ages 3+ to the 100+, in poverty-stricken huts and villages to plush halls. What a joy to witness human personal transformations. I love inspiring our fellow Beings.

Yes, I’ve many degrees, doctorate and post-doctorate from the USA, authored university books, self-help books as well as fiction time travel adventures. In Switzerland I dabbled in diagnostic devices (with a patent) and natural wellness, pioneering the first raw, fresh, vegan natural Superfoods factory in 2005 in Canada. The foods fed children, diabetics, patients, doctors, celebrities, Olympians and more. I’ve also taught as an assistant professor at a medical university, engaged in clinical practice, worked as a medical device scientist in Denmark and conduct research in India.

Since 2005 I self-fund my humanitarian super conscious work and help tens of thousands of youth especially in Africa. When the youngsters are living as their real Selves, they only wish love and safety and bliss for everyone.

Most of all, over the past 10 years I’ve been focusing my time inspiring our fellow Beings of all ages to live life as their real Selves…because I know the only hope for a better future is if humans are in full control of their own minds….and not being mind-controlled or living as anything but their real Selves, free. Our strength is within our freedom from the mind.

As I share my insights, my rewards come from the excitement in the eyes of those who attend the many seminars, workshops and events, the smiles that fill their faces, and the abundant hugs after each session. My work is my personal journey and not really work…but living, and I live a simple life, pouring any revenue back into my volunteer humanitarian life around the globe.”

Tips from Sally to Guide You on Your Journey of Self-Discovery

Benjamin Franklin was once quoted as saying “There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond, and to know one’s self.” Sometimes we find ourselves completely lost, following a path that has been designed for us in puppet-like fashion. Despite following this meticulously-crafted path we still ourselves in the middle of nowhere without a beacon to guide the way.  We often spend our most formidable years going to school to learn to be someone that will be accepted by society after we leave.

Learning about yourself has guarantees far more valuable than success and money. When you embark on a journey of self-discovery you become a force to be reckoned with and the world starts to take notice of your existence. Most people have no idea who they are or where their life journeys will lead them. One way to gain insight into your future is to enlist the services of reputable service providers that may offer you glimpses of what is yet to be. For instance, many people have gained clarity from psychic readings, finding a newfound motivation to embark on a journey of self-fulfillment. Another is to follow the guidelines below and let your heart guide you on your journey to self-discovery.

Practice mindfulness

Our lives are often incredibly busy and even somewhat messy, causing us to forget to take the time to relax.  In our fast-paced modern lives, we tend to lose touch with ourselves, never taking the time to simply be. Meditation is an excellent way through which to regain connection with yourself.  You can practice mindfulness every day by paying attention to your surroundings and yourself without passing any judgment. Refrain from reliving the past or thinking about the future and only focus on the present moment.

Define who you are and find your core values

It may sound very simple and ineffective but it can be a very powerful exercise. Ask yourself the following questions: Who am I? What am I afraid of? What are my dreams for the future? What brings me joy? You will gain a lot of insight into your own being by answer these and other pertinent questions. Your core values are what drive you and can include anything ranging from creativity and understand to intellect and equality. Once you find your core values you will have a better understanding of who you are and who you aim to be.

Find your purpose and passion

Do you enjoy anything so much that you completely lose track of time while doing it? Whether it is reading, listening to music or spending time with your family, and playing together -boredom-busters ,  this is your flow state and it is likely what you are most passionate about in your life.  It is important to also pay attention to the things you don’t like because those emotions can also guide you towards finding your true passion and purpose.  If your heart isn’t completely in something, let it go. There is no purpose in holding onto something that does not contribute to your happiness.

Ones journey to self-discovery is not one you have to embark on alone although it may feel like it at times.  If you surround yourself with people who don’t have your best interests at heart you will not be able to grow into the best possible version of yourself. Eliminate these negative influences from your life and surround yourself only with people who will allow you to grow.

This Is Why Turmeric Is so Important for Our Health and Well-Being

With certainty, turmeric is one of the most popular spices in the whole world and it has extraordinary culinary and medicinal properties. It has been used in Ayurvedic, Indian, and Chinese medicine for a long period of time. This spice has a unique flavour and a deep yellow colour.

People have used it as a powerful natural remedy for a variety of health problems such as respiratory issues, liver diseases, skin problems, muscle sprains, cuts and wounds, and gastric issues. What’s more, it can be highly beneficial against issues with the digestion, various types of infections, inflammations, as well as malignant tumours.

This Is Why Turmeric Is so Important for Our Health and Well-Being

Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, possesses anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-microbial characteristics that make it the perfect natural solution to microbes, gastritis, peptic and gastric ulcers, and H. pylori.

Research points out that this vital substance has a positive impact on the DNA, cell survival, and on the inflammation molecules. It also has the capacity to lower osteoarthritis symptoms; this can be achieved by taking 200 mg of turmeric on a daily basis.

Turmerone is another ingredient in turmeric and it is known as a bioactive element that has the ability to better one’s brain function and treat Alzheimer’s by repairing the cells in the brain.

How to Make a Natural Antibiotic with Turmeric

Needed:

1 tbsp of turmeric spice

100 grams of organic honey

Preparation:

Put the ingredients in a glass jar and mix them well.

Use: If you have the flu, take half a spoon of the antibiotic every hour. The next day, take the same amount, but every 2 hours. On the third day, take the same dosage, three times per day. Before swallowing the mixture, make sure you melt it in your mouth. Feel free to add it to your daily cup of tea or milk.

TSM18-09 Victims of Narcissistic Parental Abuse Prt 2

Their Story Matters with Sara Troy and her guest Sarah Squires, on air from February 27th

Over 26,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with having a severe personality disorder and 60-70% of all child abuses feature a parent with a severe personality disorder.  And those figures are based on diagnosed patients and reported abuse cases.  The real numbers are likely to be scarily higher.  So hundreds of thousands of children are being raised by disordered parents, all of whom are at risk of abuse and long-term harm.

My name is Sarah Squires, founder of The Nurturing Coach brand, and I help victims of narcissistic parental abuse and parental alienation to deal with the trauma of their experience and give them the skills to protect their children from the ongoing abuse at the hands of their own parent.  As an ex-social worker, protecting children is at the heart of all that I do.  Whether that be adult children of narcissistic parents or parents trying to co-parent with a narcissist.

Having experienced narcissistic parental abuse and parental alienation, I understand how lonely, frustrating and devastating it can be.  And I want to help.  I also run a training consultancy to train professionals working with children and families to recognise the signs of disordered parenting (in particular narcissism) and how to intervene in a more effective way.  This is part of the “wrap-around care” approach I have to tackling these issues.  You can’t treat the problem without working with those who play their role as flying monkeys!

WJ 18-08 Releasing The Pain – A Woman’s Journey of Pursuing Emotional Healing In Mid-Life

The Wellness Journey with Lynnis Woods-Mullins and her guest Nancy Wunder, on air from February 20TH

If you could go back through all the memories of things that have hurt you, that have caused feelings of abandonment, betrayal, shame, and unhappiness in order to heal, would you?   Would you be willing to do the work of going back to as far as you can remember in order to heal the emotional hurts of your past?

By the time we hit mid-life we have a lot of emotional baggage.  We have managed to push back a lot of hurtful memories and in some cases traumatic experiences.  Many of us have learned to keep living with emotional pain and in some cases physical pain.  At some point, we all come face to face with this kind of pain.  We either decide to do something about it or to keep living a life of suppressing our true feelings and emotions; never really healing.

Nancy Wunder decided to make the difficult choice to heal from the emotional pain of the past.  Nancy decided that the only way she could move forward in her life was to go back through some very painful and abusive moments in her life.  Through a series of age regression therapy, counselling, and several other holistic practices, Nancy Wunder actually did begin to heal emotionally and physically.   What she learned is extraordinary and the healing impact on her life is exceptional.

Nancy’s story will resonate with many of us.  We all tend to be the walking wounded, and in denial about some of the emotional pain, we carry with us.  In my interview with Nancy, she shares her poignant journey.  What she did, what she learned, how she healed, and how she is moving forward in a positive way to live in her human  “beingness”  and not just her human “doingness”.   A remarkable interview that is helpful and inspiring for anyone who wants to truly heal and live a more joyful life.

Longfellow QuoteAs a result of traumas of  Nancy Wunder’s childhood, she found at one point, her “survival skills”  learned during that time (mainly closing off to live with pride and rebellion) were interfering with her life. I had to learn a different way of “being”….which seems to be an on-going learning process. When I “begin to know that I don’t know….then I begin to know.” (Becoming teachable)

Nancy is the author of “You Can Make It and her main goal is to help others recover their “child of God-hood” and to move forward in life more present and focused on the good in the here and now.
