After a devastating diagnosis of multiple sclerosis in 2000, my life spiralled into a sad and lonely existence. Writing was the only thing that seemed to give me a purpose during those dark days.
By 2014, I was able to give up the cane and take up the stage, surprising myself at speaking engagements I would never have imagined myself doing years earlier. I’ve since discovered my heart’s desire is to help others find their dreams and inspire them to reach for their fullest potential.
Forced to leave the workforce in 2000 by the onslaught of a chronic illness, Karen saw this as an opportunity to explore her lifelong desire to write. In February of 2014, Karen independently published an inspiring story of her journey so far with a chronic illness entitled On The Right Side, My Story of Survival and Success.
In March of 2014, Karen made her début public speaking performance and has been hooked ever since. She is now launching a career as a motivational speaker and a life coach.
Ms. Magill believes that anything is possible and when she writes fiction, she leans towards the paranormal. She writes about extrasensory powers as if they are commonplace because, in her mind, we are all capable of those gifts.
To date, Ms. Magill is the author of four published paranormal novels, including the award winning The Bond, A Paranormal Love Story which is being made into a short movie.
Karen lives in an eclectic area of Vancouver Canada and draws inspiration from the history and stories around her.

We take for granted in the Western world that everyone has a flushing toilet, but that is not true, a number of people in the world without a loo is huge and this can cause sickness. One team took this on and came up with a LOO (toilet) that can be used anywhere in the world giving sanitation and some dignity to those that need it.
Jasmine Burton was born and raised in Dunwoody, Georgia. In 2014, her senior design team won the Georgia Tech InVenture Prize Competition, the largest undergraduate invention competition in the United States, for their design of an inexpensive mobile toilet, SafiChoo. Before graduating, from Georgia Tech’s Industrial Design Program, she participated in the Georgia Tech Women’s Leadership conference, the CDC’s Summer Public Health Scholars Program, Humanity in Action Fellowship and Industrial Design studio classes that emphasized ethnography and social impact work. She hopes to improve women’s health via redesigning water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) infrastructure which is why she founded Wish for WASH, a social impact startup that seeks to bring innovation to sanitation. Over the next year, Jasmine is serving as Global Health Corps Fellow in Lusaka, Zambia working as a design specialist at the Society for Family Health. Jasmine identifies as a humanitarian design activist and, ultimately, seeks to use her creativity to make the world smile.

Ornela Peka is a young female film director based in London. She has produced and directed a vast amount of content, varying from short films, commercials, promotional videos and fashion runway shows.
When her youngest child was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, Tami spent the next few years in a tailspin trying to find ways to help her daughter. She watched in amazement as a more holistic, all natural approach did what no western medicine techniques could accomplish. Tami became so fascinated with the benefits provided by Massage Therapy and CranioSacral Therapy she decided to become certified and is currently State and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage, Bodywork and in CranioSacral Therapy. Her daughter’s Functioning Recovery is maintained by a Sensory Lifestyle and CranioSacral Therapy.
