June 2013 I started my own Podcast network, we have been a few names since then and evolved quite a bit, but still, the core of our “Why” and whom we bring to you is still the same, as by supporting those making a difference in the lives of others.

I truly have found my calling, this is what I have been preparing for all my life and of cause did not know it. My journey has been one of my own Self Discovery, and a path to loving who I am inside and out.

It truly is an honour to be trusted with so many people’s stories, some so intermit and venerable that it warms your heart and shows us all how strong, resilient courageous and capable we can really be.

I hosted on a different network when I first started out, live shows which gave me some good training in dealing with the unexpected. Even when I started my own network with the help of Bill Macquie, it was learning as you go.

Now I do all my own banners, editing, videoing, and blogging and advertising my self. I am proud of that, even though it takes a long time for each show to produce, I love doing it and so glad this is my job. (Yes I do charge my interviewees as I am a service)

I have not reached my true goal as yet, podcast books, supporting the Fund-Action program, but I have started our Community Mentors program where our Mentors share their services which helps others on their life’s journey. 20-17 Let our common sense rule

Self Discovery Wisdom Podcast

We are asked to use our common sense right now, do not go out unless you have to, keep your distance when you do, wash your hands and surfaces and keep positive along the way.

I know some are having a hard time of this, being trapped inside, not making money, feeling alone, unsure of what is coming next. There is more to come, there will be a food shortage, we do not have the pickers our in the fields, we are not importing from other countries, our suppliers cannot keep up with panic buying, so we have to adjust and let our sensibility rule.

There is so much we can do to combat our feeling of isolation. We can reach out to others through our devices, we can call people, we can participate in games and conversations via zoom, we can be of serves to one another in ways we have not yet thought of.

So be proactive, get outside and get fresh air, breathe to release, and allow the feeling of dread leave you and inhale belief in this too will pass. Find someone to help, something you can contribute to, because that will make you feel good and who is on the receiving end.

Be mindful, keep your distance, wash those hands and surfaces, be respectful of others, and use this time to reflect on what you will change in your life once we are allowed to resume life.

You are not alone, and if you know someone alone, reach out to them, a little caring and kindness can go a very long way.

20-17 Hagalaz Life in Disruption= Renewal

“Don’t try to fix what we should break before it breaks us.”

Hagalaz – “Hag-all-az” – Literally: “Hail” or “Hailstone” – Esoteric: Crisis or Radical Change.

I love the Celtic Runes, they speak to me about the now and in this now they are saying Hagalaz, the Rune of disruption = renewal.

Chaos is not always bad, it is a chance to chuck out what is not serving us, in our homes, our minds, our hearts, spirits, and souls. This is a gift of time for that reflection and for us to look at that renewal we have always wanted but did not have time to get. , and ask in how we can step up to and help clear the chaos and renew our participation in our own lives and that of our world.

20-16 What changes are you making now?

This Corvid virus has changed in how we look at life, it has changed how we look at each other and most certainly has changed in how we see our selves and our future.

I work from home, many hours a day at the computer bringing you shows of wonderment and knowledge. For me, not much has changed, except, I can’t see my family, I can’t go a walking about nore eat out. Thats ok, but how has it changed for you?

This is a gift of time, we in our isolation can take the time to reflect, review and renew our state of mind heart and soul and decide how we want to live after this is all over.

For me, hurry up and slow down. I was meant to launch a new platform but have run into a roadblock, so I created a temporary one so I can continue on, as this is a time people need inspirations, solutions, and direction.

I am a flap in the wind kind of gal, and like a willow tree, go with the flow. I would love a more structured platform, but, I am all about the content, so I have made sure that is there, as that is what matters. For, in the end, it is not the cover, the sparkle, and glitter, but what is in the inside that counts, in all aspects of our lives, within our selves, and in all that we do, it is all about what we bring to our own lives and to those all around us.

What reflections have you had and what changes are you going to make once this is over? In this time of reflection? are are you going to go about your life in the same way afterward, or change it up to a more deliberate path that serves your soul, heart spirit mind and body? This is the gift of time, after all, to take stock and decide to change things up, we may never get a global opportunity to make the changes needed again, so take stock, reevaluate and redirect your self forward into a warmer light.

After all our choices direct us and affect every aspect of your life, so is it time to make different ones?
