Ignite Your Heart and Soul with Sara Troy and her guest Denise Schaad, on air from April 5th
Experiencing Loss of Self to Experience Love of self. All of our experiences however traumatic they are is the evolution of the soul. Fighting the lies within the mind is the path of self-realization. I’ve learned that the mind’s job is to preserve our isolation and the ego-mind is designed to protect our identities.
Denise Schaad has come a long way from a past filled with trauma and addiction. In her commitment and dedication to healing herself, Denise unraveled her trauma by embracing transformation. Through her willingness to face the darkness with courage, she became an empowered, successful spiritual teacher and heart leader.
Denise spent the past twenty years rediscovering what it means to fully embody Spirit which led her to create the powerful system known as Your Energy Awakening System. With insightful wisdom, Denise guides leaders and entrepreneurs toward embodying their next level of Spiritual Currency (Power). Known for her programs Discover, Activate, and Illuminate, Denise, teaches people how the ego-mind is keeping them in a continuous emotional loop and guides them to release these emotions as a way to embody Spirit and come into alignment with their true sense of self. Denise enjoys being with her students and allowing Spirit to show her their emotional stories. She thrives on unraveling how the mind keeps us hidden from the truth of who we are.

Sharon L. Brecher is a mom-blogger, writer, illustrator, wife, and Miserable Mom. Her first book, Miserable Mom: The Do’s and Don’ts of Sending Your Kid to College, calls out the absurdities of this stage of motherhood with a wry sense of humor and a self-deprecating wink to her own place in the emotional merry-go-round. Sharon is a born and bred New Yorker, living in Southern California. She has raised two young adults (one in college and one recently out) and has an MA in Education. Sharon was the Educational Director of Futurekids and spent several years working as a consultant for companies like Disney Interactive and Disney Online, where she created educational content for kids and guides for parents. Upon an emotional return from dropping her oldest off at college for the first time, Sharon needed to process some unfamiliar and vulnerable feelings. With one kid out and one to go, mid-life was upon her. This new phase would require the honesty and humor she always internalized, to process life’s challenges. But this time Sharon needed to share with other moms out loud. So, she sat down at her computer and Miserable Moms was born.

Your Health is Your Choice with Sara Troy and her guest Dr John Poothullil, on air from April 5th
What is Cancer and why do we get it? Is it always laying in wait inside of us? is it stoppable and is it curable? Dr. John shares in detail what cancer is and how we can stop it and prevent it.
Think of cancer as an iceberg in the ocean and you are a boat approaching it. You can’t know the true size of the iceberg by looking at the top of it. Similarly, one can’t know how long a cancer has been in existence when it is detected. But you can learn to navigate around a solitary iceberg… and you can also learn to navigate around a solitary cancer.
Based on more than 20 years of research in the medical literature, Dr. Poothullil offers extensive information and explanations on what cancer is, how it starts, and how cancer cells multiply. Most importantly, you will learn what you can do to prevent a solitary cancer from metastasizing and spreading in your body. As you will learn, there is a strong connection between cancer cell multiplication and grains. This means that altering your diet to avoid grains could help you stay alive by starving cancer cells of their fuel.
John Poothullill practiced medicine as a pediatrician and allergist for more than 30 years, with 27 of those years in the state of Texas. He received his medical degree from the University of Kerala, India in 1968, after which he did two years of medical residency in Washington, DC and Phoenix, AZ, and two years of fellowship, one in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the other in Ontario, Canada. He began his practice in 1974 and retired in 2008. He holds certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics, The American Board of Allergy & Immunology, and the Canadian Board of Pediatrics.
During his medical practice, John became interested in understanding the causes of and interconnections between hunger, satiation, and weight gain. His interest turned into a passion and a multi-decade personal study and research project that led him to read many medical journal articles, medical textbooks, and other scholarly works in biology, biochemistry, physiology, endocrinology, and cellular metabolic functions. This eventually guided Dr. Poothullil to investigate the theory of insulin resistance as it relates to diabetes. Recognizing that this theory was illogical, he spent a few years rethinking the biology behind high blood sugar and finally developed the fatty acid burn switch as the real cause of diabetes. Recently his own cancer diagnosis lead him to research cancer and childhood cancer.
This book is for anyone who has cancer localized to a single site and not yet colonized in another part of the body. It is also for anyone who believes they are at risk of cancer due to heredity, lifestyle, working conditions, or for any other reason. Surviving Cancer is especially important for people with Type 2 diabetes, with or without cancer, to learn about the link between the two.

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Golden Madume, on air from April 5th
A journey to internal peace. For the longest time, I did not know who I was or what my strengths were. I lived a life of performance to please my parents, my bosses, and friends. During college, I learned what my strengths were and that brought so much alignment and set me on my life path. It is now my greatest joy to hold a mirror to people to really see themselves and find that inner peace so they can take up space in the world and achieve their passion or calling.
Golden Madume is a teacher, coach, and speaker. He was born in Nigeria, moved to the United States as a teenager in 2007, and began his journey of education and self-discovery. His background is in Life and Career Coaching and his passion are to support people in knowing who they are deeply through their strengths so they may find peace and take the next best step in their life. He has been coaching for 10 years now and has spoken to groups small & large across the United States. In his free time, he loves photography, tv shows, walking, cooking, and long conversations about life with friends or strangers.
I would love to give a free coaching call to the first person that emails me after the episode airs. Not sure what the best way to do this will be, so I will accept any advice or direction you have.
