C21-27 Nate Rifkin from Suicide to Happiness

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Nate Rifkin, on air from July 7th

I want to share my journey of going from suicidal and in deep debt to feeling happy, fulfilled, and turning my life around with Daoist meditation. What I learned can help people who try to think positive and achieve their dreams yet still feel stuck.

When Nate Rifkin began his journey, he hated himself. He was suicidal and drank alcohol every morning. He dropped out of college, went broke, bankrupt, and even worked on street corners waving around a sign.

Hour after hour, he contemplated suicide. How would he do it? Would it hurt? After dropping out of college, Nate Rifkin had dedicated himself to self-help and pursuing his entrepreneurial dreams. Yet he failed to achieve any of his goals. Worse, he spiraled into debt, drank every morning, felt lonely, lost, and hated himself. A few years later – after a brutal bankruptcy and a stint spinning signs on a street corner – Nate Rifkin had quadrupled his income, married the woman of his dreams, and found happiness and contentment. What made the difference? Oddly enough, Rifkin had discovered an ancient form of meditation that reversed his downward spiral and elevated him to levels of success he never dreamed possible. Candid and painful – but ultimately inspiring – The Standing Meditation will show you step-by-step how to perform this ancient meditation and introduce you to the mysterious spiritual tradition it comes from. You’ll discover how to stop self-sabotage, eliminate self-doubt, and tap into an unlimited source of energy. This practice is not easy. It’s not pain-free. But it could transform your life.

However, Nate learned a little-known spiritual discipline that helped him transform his thoughts, emotions, and financial life. This practice from the Daoist mystical tradition even helped him find love. Today, Nate is sharing his journey and is the author of the book The Standing Meditation.

21-27 Making the Life Changes.

Making the environmental and mental changes in life in order to live in a state of love and gratitude. This is where we are right now everywhere in the world. Mama Nature is screaming as us to change, our own divine consciousness is begging us to change, and if we do not make the changes necessary we will all perish.

Does this sound a tad hysterical? NO, for the evidence is in our faces. In Brish Columbia Canada, we have had record-breaking heat waves that have burnt down villages in a matter of minutes, killed over 700 people and who knows how many animals, and destroyed much of our food. This is not a drill but the real thing and WE HAVE TO COME TOGETHER NOW AS A HUMAN NATION TO PREVENT ANY MORE DAMAGE. PLEASE, every little change = a collective large change for the good.

C21-26 Dr Arthur P. Ciaramicoli, America Reunited.

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Dr Author Cairamicoli, on air from June 29th

America Reunited: A Relational Solution to Bridging the Political, Social and Personal Chasm Dividing our Nation. This is the most important book I have ever written given the difficulties of your current time

Arthur P. Ciaramicoli, Ed.D., Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been treating clients for more than 35 years. He is currently in private practice, while also developing courses and podcasts for an educational company in China based on his recent books The Power of Empathy, The Soulful Leader and The Triumph of Diversity.

Dr. Ciaramicoli is on the faculty of The International Association of Wellness Practitioners and is a Global Presence Ambassador, Parenting 2.0. He has been on the faculty of Harvard Medical School for several years, lecturer for the American Cancer Society, Chief Psychologist at MetroWest Medical Center, and director of the MetroWest Counseling Center and of the Alternative Medicine division of MetroWest Wellness Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. He was previously the Chief Medical Officer of Soundmindz.org a popular mental health site.

Dr. Ciaramicoli has spent his entire career helping people reduce their prejudices toward themselves and others while increasing their understanding of the enormous benefits of diversity and the transformative power of empathic interpersonal relationships.

He believes every human being has the capacity to grow and uncover the goodness that lies within each spiritual being. Teasing out the hidden potential of others by uncovering the false ideas many of us carry into adulthood about ourselves and others is the prime focus of his personal self-help book on diversity. He explains in detail how the interconnections of humankind allow those of different religions, different political persuasions and different cultures to discover the commonalities among us that allow us to thrive in union, rather than continue in our current societal climate that fosters group thinks, divisiveness and hatred.

C21-26 Ashley Michelle, Escaping a Murderer.

Choose Positive Living with Sara Troy and her guest Ashly Michelle, on air from June 29th

My name is Ashley Michelle and have gone through things that I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through, including being assaulted and not only being a witness to a murder scene where my ex-boyfriend had just killed someone I knew of, but he locked the door behind me and told me I was next. Thankfully I escaped, but, from that moment, my life has been filled with PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Instead of this taking over my life, I chose to talk about what happened to me, but more importantly, about my healing process so I can inspire people to change their lives after going through their own tough times.I want someone to look at me and say, because of you, I didn’t give up!
